The Hercules can also move in a straight line by straightening the two wheel arms by hand.
The cheese plate gives you an option to position the center of gravity of the camera (and lens) between the three wheels for stability and better traction when moving.
The track only works with The Hercules having large wheel set due to the side rail clearance height.
In timelapse mode, the Hercules performs stop-move-stop where the user select one of 5 move distances (.01", .05", .1", .25", .5"), and the cycle time is between 1 sec. and 60 sec.
We don't recommend Hercules to climb a slope steeper than 10 degrees. The center of gravity of the camera/lens has to be between the three wheels or the camera might topple over.
We are in the process of patenting the programming methods so we cannot disclose at the moment. We will have detailed instructions and video tutorials available by the time you receive your unit.
The Hercules does not have Bluetooth connectivity.
