About this project
WHAT IS THE FEATURE DOCUMENTARY FORT LAUDERDALE PLAYGROUND OF THE FREE ABOUT?
The 90-minute feature documentary we are asking your support in funding is a metamorphosis of the cultural history of South Florida’s fifth dimensional art scene as it explores the spiritual and scientific connection between the consciousness of humanity and consciousness of earth.
Fort Lauderdale Playground of the Free will delve into 3 prominent areas: 1) Continuing to build a platform for South Florida artists as they collectively relate to, and find the truth of, their individual souls purpose within itself. 2) Calling attention to the overall awareness of a heart-centered universal consciousness and bringing to light the dimensions that exist. 3) Examining the degree of neuronal activity that intensifies senses and ultimately leads to a higher level of consciousness through artistic compilation and facts.
Exploring the rich history of the city’s past thru its present-day reality, the narrative takes viewers behind the palm trees of present-day South Florida to show how a city full of artists, previously shielded from the truth, have presently come together and are now energetically vibrating as One. The film also explores the South Florida spiritual, visual, and musical culture with a variety of “conscious” public spiritual teachers, musicians and artists. Highlighted in this film are the spiritual teachings by Judy Satori, Matt Kahn and Kaypacha, the music of Afrobeta, Telekinetic Walrus, Sarah Solstice, Ephniko and Chaos Theory, and the visual art of Lauraly Atria, Zak Holley, Kristofer McDermott, Joshua Oliveira and Enlighten Flow Entertainment.
WHY SHOULD I BACK THIS KICKSTARTER?
Great question! As long as you give $9, you’ve bought an online version of the 30 minute transmission Fort Lauderdale Playground of the Arts but you will also help fund the 90 minute feature documentary Fort Lauderdale Playground of the Free. This documentary asks why as souls we are here on earth, so we can wake up and remember who it is we really are. It also analyzes the research on consciousness done by Professor David Nutt DM, FRCP, FRCPSYCH, FSB, FMEDSCI to answer how this impacts the brain.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T BACK THE PROJECT?
We get it. Not everyone that wants to can back the project financially, and we're completely cool with that. If you still want to help out, the most important thing you can do for the documentary is to share the Kickstarter campaign on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
FROM THE DIRECTOR
Fort Lauderdale Playground of the Free is for anyone interested in a story of a community working together and taking their visions to create a new reality by spreading love into a gateway to joy. By intercutting Judy Satori, Matt Kahn and Kapaycha's messages into the narrative viewers will receive a film that teaches them to access the potential that is held within their soul. The Earth is now in her 5th Age of Light. This film shows how the greater force of energy in our bodies and in our minds come together to form our mastery. This is done by showing viewers how to clear their bodies energy fields and lighten up their thinking so we can all be more fluid with our thoughts and emotions. By living in the now, we become creators of our own lives.
HOW CAN I HELP PRODUCE THE FILM?
The goal of this Kickstarter campaign is to raise $15,000. This will fund 5 days of shooting with our full crew using the Red Weapon 6k camera.
See the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) at the bottom of this page for exactly where all this money will go — it’s NOT going to me, it’s going to the production of the film. This is an extremely small amount compared to most feature-length documentaries.
The campaign has a hard deadline of 11:11 PM on Monday, October 5th.
If you decide to help, you pledge whatever you want in exchange for cool rewards (i.e.: a download of the film which will be sent out at the end of the campaign, your name in the credits, etc). The more you pledge, the better the rewards! Take a look to the column on the right to see what’s available. If we make the goal by the deadline, your credit card is charged what you pledged (but not until then). We will then send you the finished version of Fort Lauderdale Playground of the Free.
If we don’t make the goal by the deadline (falling even a dollar short of the goal), your credit card is NOT charged, we get nothing, you don’t get any reward(s), and we find a different way to fund Fort Lauderdale Playground of the Free. This Kickstarter campaign is all-or-nothing.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
All rewards include FREE SHIPPING in the United States.
OUR PRODUCTION PLAN
Our documentary will begin production throughout South Florida in October. The $15,000 budget will fund 3 days of interviews with cinematographer Stephen Brevig and shooting with Red Dragon camera and for the lighting, grip, and sound crew. 2 additional shoot days with the Red Dragon are budgeted for broll throughout the tri-county area of South Florida.
Interviews with the music and visual artists of South Florida will be held on the days of the 3 events CACO Entertainment will be curating October, November, and December in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Post will begin after the first day of shooting and edit by Ronaldo Bahamon in time of Cannes Documentary Festival submission, spring 2016.
Every reward that is $9 or more comes with a link of Fort Lauderdale Playground of the Arts” and a credit in the film. This short film brings to light a long time existing philosophy that can be understood as a “heart-centered universal consciousness” which dates back to ancient times. Throughout history this philosophy has helped rid negative energy to overcome self-sabotage.
CACO Entertainment has been a combination of over 30 years of experience between the 3 filmmakers has produced several music video videos and documentaries in the past 15 years.
