CATFAX: Cats typically sleep 16 hours of any given day. 1/3 of cats’ time awake can be spent cleaning themselves.

CATFAX: A cat almost never meows at another cat, they meow mostly at humans. Typically will spit, purr and hiss at other cats.

CATFAX: A cat’s back is extremely flexible because it has up to 53 loosely fitting vertibrae. Humans only have 34.

CATFAX: Most cats have over 100 sounds in their vocal repertoire, while dogs only have 10 sounds. Cats Rule!

CATFAX: Cats have been domesticated for about 4,000 years. In the USA... about 96 million cats & 84 million dogs. Cats Rule!

CATFAX: Cats’ brains are more similar to that of a human than it is to a dog’s. Cats’ heart beat is nearly 2x a human's.

CATFAX: A cat can jump up to 5 times its own height in a single bound. It can run up to 31 mph for a short distance. Cats Rule!
