We're a band called Juice Box. We've been working hard writing lots of songs, and we want to be able to do more than just perform them live. We want to record a full-length debut studio album. Unfortunately, recording all that music in a professional studio costs too much money for us to be able to pay for it by ourselves.
Juice Box will be on hiatus beginning in Fall 2012 so band members can serve LDS missions. We're asking you, as a fan, friend, or family member of the band to donate to the cause of helping us finish recording this album before we go so we can leave you with something to enjoy during this break.
With Kickstarter, we must reach our goal of $1000 in 30 days to be able to receive the money and use it to record our album. If we don't reach the goal, everyone's money is refunded. In return for pledging money, you'll receive rewards like t-shirts (click here to see shirt options) and a copy of the album when it's finished. $1000 won't be quite enough to finish the entire project, but it'll at least give us a helpful financial boost. Because of this, we ask that you pledge even after we've reached our goal, as we also get to use funds that exceed the goal amount. All of the money donated will be used to further the band and to deliver our hard work to you. Any leftover money after recording will be used to distribute the album.
Thank you so much for your support! We can't wait to record this album and to continue to progress as a band.
