Boiled Fish is an art group composed of young talent, originating from the United States' Eastern seaboard, and this project aims to collect each member's recent, original, work into a premiere, full-color anthology.
We have desired to put this together for years, but we need to know that you, the public, wants to help us make it. Pledging to Kickstarter ensures that we'll have the funds to publish. Extra copies can be ordered online or purchased at anime conventions around the United States, but only pledging guarantees you a copy. In addition, pledging can earn you exclusive rewards like buttons or even a sketch from one of the book artists!
At present, the softcover book stands to be between forty and sixty pages, in full color - but the more you donate, the more it will grow! At minimum, each artist will contribute at least five illustrations - one of which that can only be found exclusively in the art book! As we receive pledges, we hope to add more illustrations, sketches, process work, and maybe even tutorials to give you, the backer, greater value. Pre-orders end in January, and we need a month for printing, so you can expect your copy (or copies) in March. You may order multiple copies, at $30 ea. Please comment in your donation with the number of books you want.
In addition, if you can't donate, we will have prizes for people who advertise our fund-raising project. Just post our image and link into your forum signature, journal, or banner, and you'll be entered into a raffle for an original sketch from one of our artists (number of sketches given will be proportional to number of entries received). You can find a number of banners and linking codes already here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/test-forum/t.66742773/
At this point, there's not much to do than link you to the artists, and let our work do the talking!
