Break through the boundaries with virtual reality and gesture control technology to create a new world with unlimited possibilities. These are the first glasses of their kind. With Dlodlo technology, you'll be free to move without the weight of heavy goggles or the limitations of desktop wires.

Opening a New World for VR:
If you can imagine, we’ve broken through a lot of barriers in the current VR world by taking a lot of the market competition of competing headsets- that are all quite large and compressed it into a pair of high tech VR glasses that weigh less than 90 grams! There’s been an amazing amount of research and development our team has gone through over the past three years that has allowed us to make this cutting edge technology possible.
Dlodlo V1 Overview:
The best screen resolution available for VR – over 2400×1200 PPI for crystal clear visual immersion.
A massive FOV of 105 degrees. That means once you put one these glasses you’ll be in the game with surreal panoramic views.
Also it has ultra low latency tracking for precise tracking, with a 90hz refresh rate. So, when you move your head side to side there’s next to no lag time and remains on par with your natural movement.
We’ve introduced some new ground breaking software algorithms that offer predictive motion tracking for each user.
The V1 also has automatic focus adjustment (myopia under 700° text on screen) with self-adaption of the user’s pupil distance to the screen.
We’ve made the frame of the V1 is made from carbon fiber, which allows it to be both incredibly strong and light weight.
Dlodlo D1 Overview:
- With the D1 you will have a full size computer in your pocket. It will come with 2G RAM, a touch screen that allows somatosensory functionality, which allows you to control the headset directly for a richer interactive VR experience.
Unlike other VR solutions, Dlodlo has created the world's thinnest, lightest, most advanced portable VR Glasses, along with the D1, which looks like a smartphone but it's actually a power pocket sized computer.
Fold and place them in your glasses case, handbags, or even in your pocket. You can enjoy the immersive experience whether you are on business trips, parties, bars, gyms, or restaurants.
Just like the human eye, Dlodlo V1 achieves a 105 degree field of view, allowing a fully immersive virtual reality experience! Incredible low latency and high refresh rate with built-in head tracking system and motion prediction. Enter your new and exciting world with a custom 2K+ resolution and an over 800 pixels per inch display!
To completely eliminate dizziness or vertigo often associated with VR, Dlodlo utilizes 9-axis sensor combined with a predictive algorithm for head movements, achieving a refresh rate at 90Hz.
Without cable obstacles and peripheral requirements, Dlodlo V1 Glasses are easy to operate and comfortable to wear just like wearing a pair of sunglasses.
V1 could be used in various ways, such as education, medical training, traveling, and more! Play VR Games or watch 3D-panoramic videos and movies from any angle in the comfort of your own home or wherever you roam!

As an innovative company in Virtual Reality, Dlodlo has to develop costly software systems and algorithms in order to improve the quality and performance of V1. These funds will ensure high quality manufacturing conditions and state of the art technology.

Risks and challenges
When Dlodlo first conceptualized the V1 Glasses, there were very few similar concepts or designs in the market. From the beginning, we knew we’d be in a class of our own. We started from zero because we weren’t interested in second-best. We wanted to create the best VR glasses available to you, our backers.
To do this, we had to take significant financial risks to make the necessary leaps in VR technology. It wasn’t easy, and along the way we’ve been blind-sided by completely unexpected issues more than once. But with hardship comes experience. And as we have done thus far, we are proud to shoulder the financial risk upon ourselves to ensure our backers with certainty in our delivery.

The V1 is actually the smallest, thinnest and lightest VR glasses in the world now. And the technical specs of V1 are amazing, 88g in weight, only 16mm in thickness, 2400*1200 resolution, 800+ PPI, 90Hz refresh rate. Essentially your getting amazing performance from these glasses as you would from larger competing headsets- which is why it costs more than average cheaper headsets out there. That said, all our Kickstarter backers are still getting a discounted price off our future retail value.
Our V1 supports myopia up to -7.00 diopters, but for now it doesn't support this while wearing the glasses.
We have a big lineup games; users can login in the app "Dlodlo VR" to enjoy the many types of VR games, such as Lamper, Deep Space Battle, Mega Space Hole, VR Basketball, Seven Sea, Magic Sword, etc
Yes, this is in the works now. We not too far off from releasing gesture recognition and spatial positioning functions to advance the immersive experience of the D1 and V1.
Yes, we will release both a SDK and Dlodlo consoles
Yes, we will be sharing the evolution of our prototyping process with our backers in upcoming updates. This project has been intensive over the past three years.. It's been a fun and intense journey to get us to the point where we are now with the V1 and D1, and we'll share more with you about this in our updates.
Yes, the D1 and V1 are connected via cable, but you won't be connected to a standard desktop PC that restricts your movement like other main headsets on the market. That means you'll be able to take the D1 + V1 anywhere and use them anywhere- as they're small, durable, and lightweight.
So the D1 needs an output video signals and be able to receive sensor data simultaneously, which at this point can't be achieved with a regular smartphone. And also, our V1 can work well with Oculus Ready PCs, assuming that's what you mean by compatibility.
So we can’t say that D1 is the benchmark for the VR experiences coming to the V1. As you’ve probably gathered, when you connect the V1 to the D1, you get a VR experiences on the go; but by connecting the V1 to a PC, you’ll be able to bring some fantastic experiences though there will be limitations on your movement, so V1 is designed to satisfy these two different kinds of needs. We have been developing positional tracking already and this feature will be included in the future. Yes, when you connect the V1 to the D1, it’s similar to Gear VR, but when you connect the V1 to a PC plus positional tracking, it will function like Oculus Rift, HTC Vive or PlayStation VR. The D1 now uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB LPDDR, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. Currently the V1 uses our custom LCD display with a fast response time, which has been optimized to have no ghost images, and with a smaller black matrix, the performance of our custom display is no less than that of OLED.
The LCD for each lens has a 1200x1200 resolution, and 2400x1200 total.
Yes, there will be an adjustable strap which is a detachable accessory to fit different head sizes.
We will be giving away a free set of Dlodlo Wireless TWS Earphones to all of our backers pledging for the V1 and/or D1. We will have more information to share with backers about this product in our upcoming update.
