WALKING WITH THE DEAD
A month into the zombie apocalypse, a group of survivors, including four who "for safety reasons" go by the names of their favorite cities--Green Bay, Chicago, Brooklyn, and Harlem--a Sheriff fresh off a nice, relaxing, six-week coma, his small-business-owner 10 year old son, and a voiceover-prone zombie, Romeo, who has convinced the group that he's not dead, just a little slow, are forced from the safety of their mall-camp in hopes of finding a rumored safe-haven.
Not long after, their dreams are realized. They are welcomed to Safe Haven Ranch by the elderly owners, Abraham and Sarah, a couple who seem too nice to NOT be crazy cult killers. The survivors tread lightly, wary of their "good intentions" and unwillingness to discuss their daughter Isaac's looming absence...are they hiding a zombie child, unwilling to face reality? Wanting their uninvited guests to be her next meal? Now occupying the front yard of possible crazies, with a town-ful of undead threatening to breach the farm at any second, this eclectic group must band together like never before if they plan on even glimpsing the end of the end of the world!
WHO ARE WE, REALLY?
We makers of Walking With The Dead are fresh off a rather successful first dip into the satire game. Our film Supernatural Activity (trailer below), a spoof of the literally vomit-inducing "found footage" genre, was released on DVD and VOD worldwide, had limited theatrical release overseas, and here in the USofA is available on DVD, VOD, and streaming on Netflix. In case you don't believe us, here are the trailer and some sexy covers from various countries laughing at our stupidity:

Tim and Dylan then wrote their first feature screenplay, Salem State. While pursuing his screenwriting career in LA, Tim worked on the production side of multiple big-budget feature films, including Sundance Film Festival favorite Hesher and the slasher suspense/thriller Sorority Row.

Risks and challenges
Staying Under Budget: Zombie productions require more fake blood, brains, and special effects than an Ozzy Osborne concert, which can be difficult to afford in a low-budget production. However, producer Derek Nixon has never gone over budget on a film he's produced and has the means and know-how to get creative when it comes to getting the best bang for the film's buck. Your money will be wisely and frugally used to blow this movie's brains out--in a good way, of course.
Securing Distribution: We have a foreign sales agent already locked onto the project. Archstone distribution ("Rum Diaries" with Johnny Depp, Robert Rodriguez's "Machete" and "Supernatural Activity")
Domestic distributors will be key to the success domestically. Again, with the history of the team, genre and time frame of the release. The production team is very confident in locking a solid domestic distributor for a very wide release.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
