Shadowstar Corsairs: 1st Campaign (Canceled)
The ambitious goal wasn't reached but a lot was learned - allowing for a much-improved second campaign. Thank you all for your support!
Because of the high goal, slow start, and other factors, I cancelled funding on this project when it became clear it could not succeed. At the same time, I took everything that I had learned, talked to some new manufacturers, and found a way to relaunch Shadowstar Corsairs with some huge improvements, including:
- A funding goal less than $50k (still ambitious - but not crazy high)
- Many more ships, including a Kickstarter Exclusive option.
- Painted miniatures as an early stretch goal!
- The option to buy full sets of miniatures separately.
- Lots of other stuff backers have suggested.
Please visit the relaunch campaign, or my website, to find out more. To keep up with developments for all of my projects, sign up for my mailing list at 0-hr.com or Like/Follow me on Facebook/Twitter.
There is also a whole lot more information about Shadowstar Corsairs at BoardGameGeek. Thank you to everyone who supported this project - I hope to see you next time around!

Risks and challenges
For this first campaign, I took the risk of trying to hit it out of the park on my first swing. It was ambitious, and exciting, but didn't make it. In the long run I think that Shadowstar Corsairs will end up a much better game for all the lessons learned here.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
