@Benjamin, thanks. I do like the art and the lore, and I like adventure games. I just don't like time pressure in adventure games, which for me was the problem with the demo.
@Crunch! Thanks! The most important thing about writing a game is a solid lore and narrative. Being up front and excited about influences really helps m stay on track with it and helps get you guys more in to the story(I hope)!
@ET3D - thank you so much! That really means a lot to me, even the smallest donation is still you saying you believe in and support me and the team. I hope that over the next year I can convince you to fall in love with the game!
While I still think (after playing the demo) that it's not precisely a game for me, I do appreciate the updates, the lore, and the obvious care which is going into the game. So upped from a token $1 to the $5 tier. (It's not much, I know, but still hopefully enough to show some support and appreciation.)
I'll be honest, I was looking forward to this from the cyberpunk angle, but I'm also familiar with that particular story (and have even seen that painting before). As a history/lore fan, I really appreciate that story you shared with us, and look forward to that part hopefully making it into the game!
