What is NIGHT SHIFT? A modular ruggedized bike light that utilizes a high powered tactical flashlight form factor wrapped in a silicone holder. It is available as purely just a holder (add your own flashlight) or as a complete bike light with the Night Shift purpose built flashlight.

What makes NIGHT SHIFT rugged? Night Shift flashlights are made from anodized aluminum with rubber seals making them bomber and weatherproof. And if that wasn't enough we then wrap them with a silicone holder. Grooves on the inside of the silicone provide airflow to improve cooling. The complete light is then held to your handlebars with a thick silicone band holding it steady yet allowing for smooth adjustment.

What makes NIGHT SHIFT modular? The Night Shift holder is made from soft silicone allowing it to stretch and conform to a variety of flashlight shapes. The Night Shift purpose built flashlights are modular as well. Every part is upgradable so as we make improvements or add different options you only need to upgrade what you want to upgrade. This also means that the Night Shift lights are repairable so when something goes wrong you can fix it instead of chucking it. Having a removable battery allows you to carry spare batteries for those extra long night rides. Most other self contained lights have a non-removable battery limiting your ride time to one charge and when the battery no longer holds a charge the entire bike light becomes land fill.

 Why do we need Kickstarter?  We are ready to pull the trigger for production and will use the Kickstarter proceeds to purchase inventory.

Risks and challenges

We are confident that we have set a realistic delivery date based on our combined product development experience of over 20 years. With that said we also know that things don't always go as expected. Our number one risk to the schedule is if the mass produced products do not meet the same standard as our verification builds. While this is a low risk, we will reject products that do not meet our high standard. We will keep our backers informed if there is any change to the schedule.
