The color edition - which I plan to preview in a mildly ostentatious way a bit of the way into the Kickstarter - is more a facsimile of the Original Plates Edition. The Conspiracy Zine Edition, on the other hand, is lovingly photocopied multiple times to give authentically period image degradation. Just look at those washed out letters in Grover's speech bubble! It's the early 90s come to life. The future's so bright we're gonna need mirror shades.
No. Sorry. I know that kinda sucks, but it was a choice between being able to get things out quickly and not. The bonus essays are all research-heavy and at least somewhat long things that will take a solid chunk of work, and there's no way I'll have them done in time to get the books out. So they're for the permanent edition. But there is a stretch goal where all backers, at any tier, will get a nice little ebook collection of the bonus essays when they're done.
Sure. If you add $10 to any pledge, I'll throw in three ebooks of your choice, and if you add $30, I'll give you the whole set described in the $35 pledge. So if you wanted a Conspiracy Zine edition and all my ebooks, pledge $50, select the Conspiracy Zine edition as your reward tier, and then I'll sort it out for you.
