Who's a Latin Lover?
Everyone who’s crazy for Latin food and culture. Every Latino and Latina who loves who they are. Everyone with roots in one of the most magical multi-national cultural families on the planet. If you love Latin life, with all the richness and beauty it has to offer, you’re already a LATIN LOVER.
What’s this project all about?
This project is about launching LATIN LOVER Food and Travel, a new free online English-language magazine that’ll be published quarterly. We’ll be designing and developing the online version, as well as a handsomely produced limited print edition of the first issue.
Can you tell me more about the magazine?
Our mission at LATIN LOVER is to promote Latin culture and its rich and growing interconnection to places and peoples around the world.
The magazine features interviews with prominent chefs and restaurateurs from New York City and beyond, related recipes, articles, travel tips and journeys to the peoples, places and cultures that inspired them and made them who they are today. Also, look for riveting explorations of the rich cultural heritage underlying a wide variety of Latin dishes.
Exquisitely produced in New York City, with a design sensibility at home in one of the world’s great media capitals, LATIN LOVER aims to build a community around Latin culture that bridges Latin and non-Latin populations and facilitates tourism both at home—in the restaurants and cultural institutions of New York City and beyond—and abroad around the world.
