Sparkles Macaron is a French macaron specialist and a husband + wife team. It is always our dream to create something beautiful with our own hands, and that can bring everyone a sweet smile. In 2010, we made our very first batch of French macaron and fell in love with it, we were totally obsessed and spent a while to perfect a recipe. We then started selling on etsy later that year with a very small scale kitchen. We do everything ourselves from gathering ingredients locally, setting up our online store, doing researches, taking product pictures, designing our packages, packing and shipping, and we enjoy so much doing what we love for living. In 2011, we also started to dress up our macarons in our original favor designs and we started to work with some event designers and planners. With all the support from our buyers and business partners, we have decided to step up and build a commercial kitchen later last year.
We strive to provide our customer not only the cookie itself, but a divine macaron experience, from the moment you receive and open our box, brew a cup of tea or coffee, sit down in your own comfortable spot, listen to your favorite music, take a macaron, let your teeth sink into it and take a bit of your time to enjoy just the moment. We are also passionate to make parties special and beautiful, to stun our customers' guests with our beautiful handcrafted party favors and gorgeous ideas for your dessert bar or centerpiece. The best reward we always had is our customers' thank you notes and messages, that the gift recipients were so enjoyed and their parties were very successful! At the same time, we take our responsibility to shop local as much as we can to support small businesses like us and local farms, we love the interaction we have with the people you see in the farmers market, supporting us supports also a part of our community!
Our Goal is to build a compact but well-functioned commercial kitchen in San Jose, California; to produce high quality French macaron in a more efficient manner. We have successfully secured a location, have our kitchen designed, acquired all the permits we need to start building our kitchen, and we have started to construct it. Although we have met a lot of unexpected problems along the way, such as we have to remove and rebuild the whole restroom to meet the ADA code; redo the floor to level the whole unit; as well as other problem on plumbing and stuff; not to mention we have to pay the shockingly expensive plan check and permit fee for our little project.
Your Support will help us acquire some necessary tools and equipments such as a commercial oven, ventless hood, refrigerator, freezer, work tables and benches and pay a part of our kitchen construction and the fees required by the city.
We have to raise a minimum of $20,000 and We can't do it without your help! If we do not reach our goal in 30 days, we will get nothing and we won't be able to introduce our macaron to people who deserve a happy french macaron experience anywhere in the States.
Thank you so much for taking your time to look into our project, and thanks in advance for your kind support!!
