Project Update #3: Making Chips!

No, not potato chips.. we're slinging metal chips on the mill making the spinners!

That's right, material has come in and we've already started running parts. Surveys have also gone out and we've already received some of the responses. We'll need those to know exactly how to finish your spinner(s).

In addition, we've run OP1 of the buttons and will need your survey feedback on the divots for finishing the back side. So far, everything is looking pretty good. The balance with the slightly revised design seems better with more weight at the far outside arms giving the spinner a better feel and "spinnability". Everything seems lined up and the bearings are a perfect slip-fit.

We're fit checking as we go so all parts should be pretty spot-on when we get to assembly. The only manual fitting will most likely be some minimal deburring on the inside of the bearing mating surface. As for flaming the titanium.. oh man, that's a different story.

Thought I'd give everyone the heads up and let you know that things are looking good for getting these spinner made and delivered.
