This short film will follow Jordan, a high school student who consistently attempts to be the center of attention. When his confidence in his relationships begins to deteriorate, so does the world around him. His loneliness will take shape, hunt him down and and torment him in a crescendo of paranormal events. He will have to find a way to deal with this storm of craziness before his life shatters completely.
Our team is used to working on minimal to zero budget productions, and we are prepared to utilize our donations to the greatest effect, and access an incredible amount of resources to entertain our abilities with. Particularly, we plan to use most of our $300 goal to hire professional talent. Strong acting abilities will greatly improve the quality of our character based piece. Of course, another essential and costly aspect is food for our cast and crew, so an appropriate amount of money will be allocated. Smaller portions of money will go towards props and set design.
In the end, we are student filmmakers without a budget, so every donation is a few dollars that we didn't have to produce our video. We are extremely grateful for any donations, and would like to thank all of our supporters.
Risks and challenges
As high school students, we frequently have inconvenient and demanding schedules. Our biggest challenge in making the film will be to gather the team frequently enough to shoot and edit the project. To deal with this issue, Justin and I have discussed our schedules for the coming months, and have preemptively taken less hours at our respective jobs to make shooting easier.
Additionally, we are still film students, so we are still learning our skills and honing our craft. This is the first project of this scope that we have been able to take on, so we will be receiving guidance from our teacher as we work through the project.
