Created by London’s Studio Blackburn and Nirvana Creative Production House, this tournament wall chart allows fans to fill in and keep track of results during the Russia World Cup 2018 in style.
Inspired by the early 20th century Suprematism art movement in Russia, the wall chart depicts a deconstructed football pitch complete with bold Russian typography.
We wanted to offer fans an alternative to the garish and unattractive wall charts many fans will be used to putting up with as they plot their team’s progress (or England’s lack of progress) during international tournaments.
What’s On Offer
Backers can personalise their wallchart by choosing what colour of the Russian flag they want it to come in—picking from red, white and blue.
The design recalls the classic graphic design and styling of Soviet-era football teams, with a nod to the World Cup’s Lev Yashin inspired poster.
This is an ideal keepsake for football fans looking to follow the tournament in style, with a beautiful piece of design that will live on after the final has been played.
Backers can also opt for a premium gold version, foiled in gold and black on gold paper for a touch of added splendour.
As devoted football fans, Studio Blackburn and Nirvana Creative Production House have been collaborating on a design-led wall chart for every World Cup and European Championship since 2002, incorporating digital scoreboards and all-time best XIs into previous designs.
This is the first wall chart that will be available for purchase to the general public, with previous editions being limited to small print runs.
