Risks and challenges
Our biggest concern is the sad reality that we are losing more of our nation's aging veterans every day. Because of that, we are missing out on the opportunities to hear their incredible, personal stories. Recording the unique perspectives of these humble heroes not only creates lasting memories for their families and communities, but adds to our nation's historic treasury.
The pitfall with documentary filmmaking, when interviewing a large number of subjects, is scheduling conflicts that arise. To make the most of costly production time, the cast and crew must adhere to strict scheduling demands and, occasionally, minor adjustments have to be made the day of filming. This issue can typically be remedied with strategic planning and communication between production company and the subjects being interviewed. Scheduling is a work process that we have continually improved upon with the knowledge gained through past experiences.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
