From the director of Stargate Universe: Distant Hope comes a new cross era Star Trek fan film, Star Trek: Temporal Anomaly.
Star Trek: Temporal Anomaly is basically something that all fans wish had happened, a meeting of all of the Star Trek Era's.
*****NEWLY RELEASED official synopsis*****
Star Trek: Temporal Anomaly is the story of an average day aboard the Enterprise 1701-E which takes place just after the incident with the Ba'ku featured in Star Trek: Insurrection. An anomaly suddenly forms and within the blink of an eye somehow leaves only 1 Ensign aboard the Federation flagship. He soon discovers other ships from other times have also been brought to that region of space and each with only 1 crew member left aboard. With each ship badly damaged the remaining cross era crew must join forces against an unlikely foe as the fate of there ships, their lost crews and over 200 years of history is threatened.
Temporal Anomaly is a "short film" as we are aiming for around 20 minutes and will be filmed on digital DSLR cameras which as can be seen from the promo video give an impressive amount of visual quality. There will be between 6-8 major characters with the extra's hopefully coming in from this campaign, each of the main characters are actors by trade and will put the time and effort in to make this film as good as it can be.

SGU: Distant Hope was a joy to make and with its excellent reception I looked towards making its Sequel. However during the planning stages I suddenly had an epiphany and the entire story of Temporal Anomaly came into my head, it had to be made! Now here I am asking for your help in making this fan film.
The money we are looking to raise will go primarily towards the costumes and basic props however since we know what we could do if we reached a higher level we are adding stretch goals straight away to let you know exactly what we can do if given the chance. We want to make the best film possible and there are some very snazzy props, costumes and pieces of kit we can buy to add an extra element to the film. Maybe one character enjoys blood wine, wouldn't it be fun in one scene to see him drinking out of a TNG Klingon bottle in a scene, such extras we can buy with your backing!
THE MORE WE MAKE THE MORE WE BUY AND THE BETTER CHANCE THERE IS FOR FURTHER FILMS! (Yes i have several ideas!)
£1600 -- All of the costumes needed
£2000 -- All of the costumes needed + some custom made props + original music
£2500 -- Higher quality costumes + many custom made/bought props (full lights and sounds) + A complete original soundtrack
£3000 -- Better camera/sound equipment (Lens's for DSLR's/Microphones)
£4000 -- Having the chance to use a Cannon 5D mark 2 DSLR, a camera used to film many professional adverts as well as an episode of the hit US drama House!
£5000 -- Having the chance to use the Cannon 5D Mark 3! (Released in 2012) A camera with video recording improvements that are key and would make for higher quality production.
£6000 -- Ultra high quality custom made costumes (taylor made to each actor and as screen acurate as we can) with detailed accessories
£7000 -- The best DSLR len's able to give total freedom and filming abilities (More cool angles!)
£7500 -- A DSLR video rig. Having this means we can have better control of our camera with a matt box, follow focus and dedicated monitor so we can see what we are making properly and know its top quality. (The more camera equipment we get the better any future fan films will look!)
£8000 -- The chance to make Blu-ray disks of this production to be sent instead of DVD's if wished.
£???? -- Better CGI, better costumes, better cameras, better sound equipment, better green screen.
These stretch goals are there to let you know that we have asked for the minimum amount of money needed but with your generosity we can have the chance to make a much better film, with better equipment and people.
From myself and the rest of the Star Trek: Temporal Anomaly cast and crew, thank you!
Star Trek is owned by Paramount with Star Trek: Temporal Anomaly being a non-profit fan production aimed purely for entertainment.
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
I am a very passionate Star Trek fan and with 4 years of film making experience under my belt and another fan film out there I am hugely excited in making this next film. As with any film there may be delays but we have the studio, we have the actors and we have the time. Once funded we can get everything together and make this a reality one step at a time.
Well as a DVD making veteran and someone who loves watching the all of the extras and commentaries we will try to give you a as much high quality stuff as we can.

2. Star Trek: Temporal Anomaly - Director Commentary
3. Star Trek: Temporal Anomaly - Actor Commentary
