Dual to Lone Conversion Kit!!!

After tons of requests we finally have the Dual to Lone Harness Conversion Kit available on Indiegogo. This kit includes everything you need to convert your dual camera harness (the Drifter or Bandit) into two single camera harnesses. This is perfect for people who occasionally want to shoot with one camera or have a second person use their second camera.

If you purchased a harness on kickstarter, just head over to our indiegogo page and buy the upgrade kit. When we receive your order we will put the upgrade kit in with your harness shipment. There is no need to select a color, we will just match it with your kickstarter order color.

Thanks!

I also would like to follow up with Andy's comment. I purchased the Bandit with the below comment in mind: "How difficult is it to convert the Dual harness to the single.
The Drifter and The Bandit will be easy to convert. All you have to do is undo the removable rivet that holds the two back pieces together and attach the chest strap. It takes 3 minutes or less."
It was important to me to be able to convert such a harness to one strap since that's what my current harness does. So why wasn't it mentioned prior that this would require an additional cost and additional hardware? I'm a bit confused. Hoping for some clarification! Thanks!

Sorry for the multiple comments! I just found this tidbit in the FAQ section and was curious to see how the makers respond to this answer from November 2018:

"How difficult is it to convert the Dual harness to the single.
The Drifter and The Bandit will be easy to convert. All you have to do is undo the removable rivet that holds the two back pieces together and attach the chest strap. It takes 3 minutes or less."

Doesn't this imply it doesn't require any additional pieces/hardware? Thanks in advance for the clarification!

I'm super excited about the arrival of my dual strap, but slightly disheartened to learn that it won't come with the hardware to split it into two lone straps. I'm with Coral here...swear it was mentioned you'd be able to split up any dual strap without any additional $.

I thought that buying the either of the dual harnesses would include the gear to convert it to a lone, but if you bought a lone you would have to buy extra gear if you wanted to make it a dual strap? It’s another $40 on top of the dual harness amount? :\
