Production Update 3

Posted by Fourth Quarter Miniatures Limited (Creator)

Hello Backers!

Production of the game continues. Here is the news this week:

Not so good news one: There was a minor issue with the STL files. After discussing the options with our caster, they are going to resolve this issue by making slight adjustments to the STL files (it was just a discussion about an arm joint). This has caused a minor delay. But as the STL files were with the caster ahead of schedule, this should not effect the post out date.

Good news 1: Game card designs. Thanks to an amazing backer who is helping with this, we are close to having master designs for all the card types. Here is an example:

Good news two: The board manufacturer has been hard at work, and the prototype is on it's way to us this week for play testing and evaluation. Note: This was an example of the material, not the board lay out.

Good news 3: We are opening the pledge manager on Monday 2nd April. We will  send out emails at this time to clarify how you can choose your extras.

Good news 4: We intend to show the rules off at the Salute! Wargames show next month. After that point we will also send out a beta version to backers by the end of April.

Good news 5: The counters are ordered and in production.

OK, let us know what you think. And as always, we can't wait to have a game of FQF with backers in the near future.

      Looking good :)
I put some design feedback in the main comments part of the site.

@Christoph - I think it means we will get a copy of the Beta rules. We can then test.

Reads really good. What do you mean with sending betaversions to the Backers?
