Hopefully you will get this back up and running again I would fund it again. Really liked the idea and concept for my daily bike rides. I hope your able to get this funded so I can have a set.
      Thanks

      Jim & Derek,

Thank you for your input. We are not ready to walk away from this product just yet but we definitely do need to work out if this is a cycling product, running product or both. My gut is that we are trying to be too much to too many. If this is strictly a cycling product then we can make a few minor product adjustments to improve it for that singular use. It also enables us to more precisely focus our marketing message.

Any chance you try this campaign on kick starter again? Very interested in the product for cycling purposes only. I'm a triathlete but don't carry a phone when I run so audionoggin wouldn't help much without that. I'd love to test these out and am disappointed they didn't get funded. Good luck!

I have only recently got onto Kickstarter and to find this campaign I had to search and browse the categories. So maybe it's that your not being seen.
The product is something that I would love to have. I'm a cyclist and I'm not a fan of in ear headphones so I've had to give up riding to music and even though in Australia there are no laws against having headphones on when riding on the road we still need to watch and listen for cars and emergency vehicles.
It looks like you have put a lot of work into this and I agree it would we sad to see that go to waste.

      Mark,

Thank you for your comment. We are currently discussing what our options are for next steps. There has been a tremendous amount of resources put behind this product and we hate to see it not come to fruition. We have had a resonable amount of media coverage from the cycling industry and almost zero from the running industry. Are we trying to be too much to to many? Sould we reposition strickly as a cyling product? The product was designed aournd the idea that multi sport had benifit but prerhaps the market truly wants a more specilazed product.

As for communication, every message and comment was quickly responded to. We avoided spaming our backers with updates that were contentless fluff. Perhaps that was a mistake. Thank you again for your comment.

      Regards,

      Ron

Unless there's a dramatic change in fortunes, this project is clearly not going to meet it's funding goal. There has been a disappointing lack of communication which probably hasn't helped.
Just wondering whether there are any future plans for this project?

      Paolo,

I just put the set of prototypes that I have been using on a digital scale (picture now in the gallery section). They came in at 38 grams without the helmet mount. The helmet mount is about another 10 grams. We expect the production units to be little smaller and weigh a little less. Somewhere in the 40 -45 gram range should a realistic target.

What is the total weight with the helmet attachment?

      Aditya,

Thank you for your backing Audionoggin! The sound is near enough to your ear that you don't have to have the volume very high to enjoy your music. When you are outside the background noise hides most of the sound spill from those around you. That said these are capable of generating a lot of sound and you certainly can turn them up loud enough for others to hear. Of course at that volume, you likely won't be comfortable wearing them yourself. If it is loud to those around you imagine how loud it is when they are only 5mm from your ear. Thank you again for your support! - Ron

What can people mount it to, if they don't wear hats, helmets, visors and headbands?

    12. Aditya Jariwala on October 24, 2016

Is the sound relatively isolated or would it disturb people around me? I know it is made for sports but just checking

      Srikanth B,

We designed the Noggin to be a multisport product. Each set of Noggins will ship with BOTH a helmet mount and a reusable hat/visor/headband mount. Additional mounts can be purchased for a nominal price on our website.

Thank you again for all your support and for helping make our dream come to life.

Thanks for the response, so this backing plate for the mount for headband is included with the rewards?

      .LEX,

Thank you for your support! We are currently getting about 5 hours of play time out of the batteries at normal listening volumes. You can use the right side by itself but not the left. The right side has the mics in it so all the calling features work. While on a call only the right side plays audio. At the moment we are investigating a firmware solution for that but we don't want to promise a feature that might not be delieverable. As you correctly point out, one big advantage of our system is that it can be used on multiple helmets and hats. As such, "bases" or "mounts" will be available for a nominal price. I know use my pair on three different cycling helmets and it really is nice to be able to just swap between them.

Thank you again for your support.

      Ron

How long does the battery last on one charge? Can one side be used by itself? Does one side shut off if we take a phone call or do we hear in stereo? Are we able to purchase additional bases to put on different hats, helmets and caps without having to remove them each time.

Sorry if I missed this info in the campaign.

      Thank you

      Srikanth B,
Thank you for your support! The headband mount for the Noggin will use a backing plate behind the magnetic mount so it can be removed and used on all of your different headbands. We are extremely busy with the launch right now but we will try to post a video of the Noggin being used with a headband in the next few days.

@Sparkxster + We here at Audionoggin have opted to use directional "Near Ear Audio" instead of bone conduction technology, as we were not satisfied with the sound quality and comfort of bone conduction. Thank you for your question and for backing our project!

Not quite clear on the mount bit. If i keep changing my headband daily can i keep changing the mount to every headband after your stick on after removing the adhesive?
Also can you show any video with it being used with headband?
