Half the Battle: Volume 2
A much-anticipated by fans sequel to the successful GI JOE hardcover art book, Half the Battle, which was funded through Kickstarter.
This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Thu, November 22 2018 10:27 PM UTC +00:00.
After the success of the last Half the Battle book, I attended numerous JOE conventions and met many amazing JOE friends and family. I am blessed that such a community of like-minded JOE-loving crazies are out there—- it isn‘t just me!
so after much discussing with new fans to my and requests from older ones, I am ready to release 60 new pieces of joe related art.
ary pieces to be shown are :
‘commissions over the past three years
JOE con related art
Joefest Augusta related art
Dirty South : Joe meet-up related art
and many others!
End product will be 8.5x11 hard cover, with color cover, and black and white interior pages. I am expecting 60 pages, about 10 of which will be commissions that are going to be done as incentives for this project- so look for those!
This is a true labor of love, and as such, it is taking me away from my own new series that I am developing, but it will be worth it! I love the JOE community and am grateful for them embracing me and my work!
more incentives and rewards will be announced shortly. I need to verify which original art I still have, so that all of that can be made available. I also need to price out a few other options, and did more of the print images.
Remember, this is going to be 60 pages, so there will be TONS of art...
Risks and challenges
This will be my third hard cover book printed, and I’d Like to believe that I’m getting better and more efficient with each one. I already have the printer selected and ready to go -depending upon the number of books I need to order. Shipping is always hard, as it takes time to create safe packages and get materials out to the awesome folks who support. Although this will be my third book, there are always unforeseen challenges. I do not believe there are any risks however, as again, I have done this a few times before.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
