      Any updates on delivery?

    2. Creator Nicholas Campbell on February 24, 2014

Liking the orp so far, though I would like to point out some minor issues I have.

First off, the orp doesn't work well on a 25mm bar even with the kinda rolls easily on the bar when operating the tail.

Secondly, the actuation of the horn is not ideal. I can't tell you how many times I have accidentally loud buzzed a pedestrian (and it's more of a short burst because I thought I was delivering the quiet sound). Maybe a tail with "clicks" between sound modes. Also It is impossible to get the quiet sound to work on the downstroke (faulty orp?) sometimes when I'm messing around with it.....have also notice the sound cuts out completely when I push the lever all the way down (not helpful in emergency).

VERY impressed with the lights considering the size. lights up a small patch of pavement.

Wow, wow, wow, just got my sexy black Orp yesterday. Silly me, I have not been accessing my emails frequently, so I missed all the instructional updates, darn. Must say the packaging was cool, very PC but, so cool, so efficient, so impressive.

I will take responsibility for not getting basic emailed operating instructions, and thus, struggling with almost all aspects of operating the Orp. After about an hour of careful, persistent experimentation (not too rough so as not to break anything), I figured everything out except how to 'open' my Orp. Finally, when I showed a friend, he glanced at the saddle design and showed me how to open it. Yikes, I thought the saddle was the part I was supposed to open, silly me! Oh well, I can't say helpful videos were available in my email(s).

I am so very happy with my new Orp, kudos to all involved in design, production, and development. I just have to get better at reading pictures on the inside of boxes. Keep up the great work!

      Geesh.... Sorry for the typos!

    5. Creator Tory Orzeck on February 19, 2014

Yup, Orp is a beacon {unless you're moving super slow}. This Orp is designed to help you be seen. We definitely want to make a "light the way Orp" in the future especially for Mtn. Bikers. Thanks for making us feel bad.

      I'm kidding.

      Kidding! seriously

      Hi Tony-

Love the Orp so far. One comment- I've found myself continuing to have a 2nd light. The Orp does a good job of lighting everything so that you can be seen, but it doesn't do a great job of lighting the road in front of me while riding, especially when I'm going downhill fast and want to see far ahead.

      Keep it up

      Sorry, I thought I answered this. The REMORP is a new project that we're working on but it's not done. That said, all Orps are ready for it.{BTW this is a bonus!}
So to be clear, the REMORP will not ship with these Orps and its cost will be additional.

    8. Creator Peter Lizan on February 18, 2014

Can we get a response to those questions regarding REMORP being shipped with our ORPs?

    9. Creator Tory Orzeck on February 15, 2014

Funny as the Orp EE, Vince, and I debated this exact way of actuating ADM. I was all for the hitting the power button to switch into ADM but Vince argued its just one more mode to have to scroll through to get to one of the more common used f lighting modes.

    10. Creator John Fox on February 13, 2014

Please consider leaving the ADM as a 4th hit of the power button (or adding it to ORP v2.0). Getting doored doesn't allow a cyclist to think about hitting two buttons! We can't afford taking a hand of the handle bars to press two buttons. About all we can sacrifice is a thumb to smash the wail tail down while all the fingers activate the brakes!

    11. Creator Tory Orzeck on February 10, 2014

      John** and everybody,
First, the Anti Dooring Mode[ADM] is a bonus feature and it only works as I've described before and as I will now:
      1.Power your Orp up
      2. Simultaneously depress the power button and depress the tail DOWN as if you are activating the loud sound.
      3. You will get a strobing Loud sound
4.To cancel this mode hit the tail up or down

** Sorry man, the 4th hit method John describes is just accidental as the 4th hit and the depression of the tail activated the ADM.

    12. Creator Tory Orzeck on February 10, 2014

It's a crappy iPhone video. The sound volume is not well represented.

    13. Creator John Fox on February 10, 2014

I found that I could activate the Anti-Door mode by pressing the power button 4 times and then just hitting the wail tail when needed to warn drivers. It stays in Anti-door mode until I press and hold the power button to shut off the Orp. If that's not the way it was designed, it should be. Trying to remember to press two buttons simultaneously when under stress of crashing ain't gonna happen! I'm going to be lucky to hit the one button!

    14. Creator Gary on February 10, 2014

Wow! looking really good. Well done to Tory and everyone involved to get from concept to production. Can't wait for mine to arrive!!!!

    15. Creator Ross Savage on February 10, 2014

Good to see Orp works like a champ, even in the snow!

    16. Creator Tory Orzeck on February 10, 2014

Make sure your Orp is fully charged.
This will yield the loudest sounds.

    18. Creator William kochi on February 10, 2014

will you be offering the REMORP at a later time? or a new KS campaign? not clear when it will be available.

    19. Creator Peter Smith on February 10, 2014

I'm from the UK and would be happy to delay my order to include the Remorp as I'm not keen on paying more postage than the remote costs - is this an option?

    20. Creator Psiren on February 10, 2014

Looking forward to receiving the Aorta Red Orp and would also like to enquire about an ETA on the REMORP and whether they'll be available to those of us outside the US before our orders are shipped to avoid additional shipping costs?

Thanks for the updates & videos.

    21. Creator Peter Lizan on February 10, 2014

Is there a way to have the remote actuator shipped with the ORP? I live in EU and I would not like to spend another 15 USD for shipping to get it.
Also, do we get notified when our ORP gets shipped?

    22. Creator Marcus Lynam on February 10, 2014

It doesn't appear to be as loud as promised. The light seems to be good and bright though.

    23. Creator Tomás de Lancastre on February 10, 2014

It doesn't seem as loud as it should..

Scares and saddens me that there was a need for this much direction.

    26. Creator K. Landry on February 10, 2014

Understood, but some folks over in the Comments section seem to be having a hard time with it.

    27. Creator Tory Orzeck on February 10, 2014

Yeah, but it's a bonus mode.
When you simultaneously hit the power/mode switch and tail DOWN,
Be sure to push the tail down like you are going for the loud sound.

    28. Creator K. Landry on February 10, 2014

Great! How about a Dooring Mode instructional too?
