Good morning, bakers!
Jason has asked me to pass along some news to you while he wrestles with some computer issues. The waiting game is in full swing, as the printer does their magic behind the curtain. Watching the oven doesn't do any good, though, so we need to occupy ourselves in the meantime. Fortunately for us, there are plenty of gaming events ahead!
Next week is Gen Con! The biggest gaming event of the year (depending on how you measure it). Green Couch Games will be well-represented there, as usual. If you are coming to Indianapolis for the weekend, be sure to include us in your plans!
Jason and crew will be in the exhibition hall at Booth 2108 in the Family Fun Pavilion, which is generally a splendid place to find great little games. Come by to see the whole Green Couch catalog in person.
I will be at the booth at 12:30 each day demoing Filler. Stop by to say "hello" and play a few turns. If you'd like the full experience, you can sign up for one of the Filler events in Lucas Oil Stadium:
At these events I will guide you through a full game of Filler (or more) and also teach Stroop from Grand Gamers Guild. As time permits, you'll have the option to try out one of my upcoming games as well. Note: due to a scheduling glitch with the Gen Con system, these events are listed as 2-hour slots when they should be 1 hour. But if we run over an hour, that's okay!
I hope to see many of you soon! If you have been there in the past, what are your favorite places to eat in Indianapolis? Any tasty treats your fellow backers should be aware of?
