This time, we're adding a couple Missio cards, new goals to add some variety by transforming the Tavern locations into opportunities for scoring! The Barkeep isn't a part of a Guild so there is no Virtus Card for this character. But crafty folks in the city can gain his trust by keeping his bar stool filled with thirsty patrons. And you can hold sway over the Tavern by making sure it's standing room only!
Like the other promos, these cards will initially only be made available through this Kickstarter until a future time when they may become available at conventions or through other outlets. But before all that, they are for you first! Let's make the last few days count! Please keep sharing the project far and wide!
Unlocked: The Party Pack Promos will now include 5 cards with two new versions of The Chiseler and The Herald with art by Jaqcui Davis! And the photo cards will still be included, too!
The Bloody Butcher removes 3 cards to the discard pile and will probably give you nightmares! The Chiseler looks vaguely familiar and will chisel away at other player's hands. And The Heralds? They must be some sort of messengers, gathering lots of folks at the Tavern to share the latest news and get new information flowing. The one on the right sure is handsome!

While we don't have the final art yet, it will look a little something like that grey shield pictured above. This marker will be given to the first player so that when ever the game end is triggered all others players are given one more turn to prove their worthiness in the cause against the corrupt crown!
Unlocked- We have great playtesters and backers and we heard your request loud and clear! Some of the Virtus Cards refer to the "Castle" and "Harbor" locations which are indicated on the locations cards by small signs pointing to the space next to the play area. For some people these signs were difficult to see and keep track of so we've decided to add two new cards to Fidelitas that can be placed to help these locations to be more clear. While players won't actually play to these locations but rather at locations next to these cards, we thought it would be helpful to make them stand out a bit more than they do in the current format. This goal is unlocked and every copy of the game will include these cards right in the box!
Unlocked- Meet the Brute, the Commander, the Scribe, and the Monk! Manu Forti is Latin for "with a strong hand" and these cards add new actions, new missions, new members of the least represented Guilds, and new ways to score. These new Virtus Cards can be played as an action or scored by gathering specific types of cards into your hand! These advanced cards provide an added layer that sows confusion and mistrust while providing another route to gain points that pave the way to victory as the leader of the revolution! This goal is unlocked and every copy of the game will include this expansion right in the box!
In Fidelitas, players take on the role of faithful citizens in a medieval city exerting influence in order to gain the credibility needed to lead the charge against the corrupt crown. Players play character cards to various locations that make up the city in order to meet conditions of hidden objectives. Each type of character card is associated with a unique action that manipulates cards in the game; use the Butcher to bully other characters to new locations, use the Student to gain more cards, use the Soldier to keep the peasants from loitering too long.
In this game where keen maneuvering is key, attentiveness to the opposition may uncover hidden motives that seek to foil your bid for power. The first player to gain a certain number points depending on the number of players is determined worthy to lead the revolt, and also wins the game.
Fidelitas is a game for 2 to 4 players, ages 10 and up and plays in 20-30 minutes. The game is designed by Jason Kotarski (The Great Heartland Hauling Co.) and Philip duBarry (Revolution!, Courtier, Canalis, Kingdom of Solomon).

Welcome to Fidelitas! In a city you’ve never heard of that’s far too difficult to locate on a map, during a time long before you or anyone you know were born, a cohort of faithful citizens gathered to put plans in motion to take the power back from the political elite whose so-called “leadership” led to nothing more than inequity and discontent among the people. But instead of formulating a plan for revolution, they drank too much ale and forgot what they were gathering for in the first place.
But thanks to their digression, now it’s your turn to pick up where they left off…before the over-indulgence, of course!
Fidelitas is a card game with a small footprint that packs a big punch!
Fidelitas will include:

As we get closer to our funding goal, we'll be announcing some sweet STRETCH GOALS to keep the party going. We have plans to add value to Fidelitas that we think you will really appreciate. We're not talking about "doo-dads" and "whatsits" here. WE ARE TALKING ADDED VALUE!
We have several stretch goals in mind that have been developed and tested. And we hope to hit them all! But know that if we do, we won't likely be adding more just to add more. We believe that more isn't always better, especially if it holds up production and delays delivery.

Jason Kotarski and Philip duBarry are game designers from the Midwest who met on the internet. They thought it would be cool to work on a game together. Neither of these stand-up-fellas had ever designed a game in collaboration with another designer before. And even though it can be difficult to give up some control in order work with another human being, it seemed like a good idea at the time. They probably learned something in the process. It may have even been kinda fun. Fidelitas is the result of more than a year of emailing, developing, and playtesting. They'd love it if you'd pledge your support for the fruit of their labors.
Jaqui Davis is an illustrator from the U.K. who's done beautiful work in the tabletop game space that includes contributions to: Belle of the Ball, Euphoria, Epic Resort, and Skyway Robbery.
Darrell Louder is a graphic designer living in Delaware. He also designed a game for Dice Hate Me Games called Compounded. It's kind of a big deal.

Risks and challenges
This is the first Kickstarter project for Green Couch Games and I know with all new things comes a learning curve. With that in mind, I have been making plans and doing my diligence to do as much of the work upfront as possible! My hope is to avoid delays and common pitfalls by paying special attention to the following areas and building on previous experience:
Art and Design. The art and design for the game is 95% locked so we'll be ready to print shortly after the close of the campaign. Since I am a new publisher I wanted you to know what you are getting into by showing you the whole darn thing!
Playtesting and Reviewing. Fidelitas has been tested by many different group and has been played at Unpub and Protospiel. I have sent out more than 30 prototypes to reviewers around the world. I want to earn your trust by providing you with a solid product that has been thoroughly tested and reviewed by folks from varying backgrounds and perspectives.
Past Experience. While this is the first Kickstarter I've run for a game project, I have helped with several other successful campaigns. Also, having spent many years working in retail and customer service, I understand the importance of treating backers with respect and following through with projects.
Of course, there are always unexpected circumstances that pop up, but I PROMISE to communicate every step of the way and do my best to use creative problem solving meet the challenges head on.
