It’s time to build another treehouse!
In the new stand-alone sequel to the Golden Geek Nominated Best Treehouse Ever (Best Card Game, Best Family Game, 2015), Best Treehouse Ever: Forest of Fun, players compete to build their best treehouse, outfitting their treehouse with cool rooms, and creating fun habitats for their favorite furry and feathered friends, while also making sure that their tree doesn't tip over and that their rooms are more impressive than all of their friends' rooms at the end of the game.
In addition, our treehouse builders have leveled up their experience by visiting new locations in the forest that provide special abilities to help them in their new build. Building takes place over three weeks/rounds, and in each round, players use card drafting and spatial reasoning to add five new rooms to their treehouse. Players must pay attention to the other treehouses being built since they take turns determining which types of rooms score for everyone at the end of each round. At the end of the third week, the winner is the player with the best treehouse ever!
But the best part? Best Treehouse Ever: Forest of Fun can be combined with Best Treehouse Ever to play up to 8 players!

Note: International Backers outside of the UK and EU will be responsible for any import fees, brokerage or delivery surcharges, or applicable taxes that may be levied after we have shipped your package.
We have learned that shipping is a costly endeavor, especially with the recent rate increase in the US Postal Service and the increased box size and weight of this game. We must try to keep our costs as low as possible to keep our games at an appropriate price point for when they hit retail.
We understand that shipping to our international friends can be cost prohibitive and that others have found creative ways to mitigate some of this cost. As a small company that handles our own fulfillment, we simply pass our shipping cost on to our backers. In addition, it is our goal to continue to develop our network of awesome international partners that we have worked with to localize Best Treehouse Ever for game markets around the world. So far these partnerships have led to Best Treehouse Ever being published in Russian, Ukrainian, Taiwanese, Chinese, German, Dutch, and French.
We are saying THANK YOU to our early adopters on Kickstarter by offering the game below MSRP. We'll also be adding some extra content and component upgrades at no extra charge (when we reach STRETCH GOALS, of course).
We have plans to add value (STRETCH GOALS!) to Best Treehouse Ever: Forest of Fun that we think you will really appreciate. We plan to add value by upgrading components and increasing replayability with added game content.
We have several stretch goals in mind and we hope to hit them all! But know that just as with our previous campaigns, we won't likely be adding more just to add more. We believe that more isn't always better, especially if it holds up production and delays delivery.
That being said, we'll be listening closely to your feedback and ideas and will carefully consider all the ideas that comes our way.
Here's a look at what's to come with YOUR help:

"All in all, if you like Best Treehouse Ever, you are going to like Forest of Fun. It takes a wonderful, family friendly drafting game, and adds a little bit of spice to the mix and freshens it all up a bit." - Brandon Kempf, What Did You Play This Week Podcast Thing
"Best Treehouse Ever: Forest of Fun succeeds in breathing fresh new life into a family favorite -- and make no mistake, Forest of Fun is still very much a family friendly game. It doesn’t overcomplicate the game, or add to the play time in any significant way, and it seamlessly integrates with the original. I’d highly recommend Best Treehouse Ever: Forest of Fun for gamer families and for the inner kid in most everyone." -Eric Buscemi from Cardboard Hoard
"Building games are always fun to look at—Carcassonne, Kingdomino—when you're incrementally adding to a structure over the course of the game, it's fun to see what everyone has constructed by the end, and Best Treehouse Ever is no exception." -Jonathan Liu from GeekDad

Risks and challenges
My experience with our previous campaigns, Fidelitas, Best Treehouse Ever, JurassAttack!, Avalanche at Yeti Mountain, Wok on Fire, Rocky Road a la Mode, OutLawed!, Ladder 29 and Before The Earth Explodes has provided a solid foundation for me to build on. And so far I have been able to avoid delays and common pitfalls by paying special attention to the following areas and building on previous experience:
Art and Design. The art and design for the game is nearly complete so we'll be ready to print shortly after the close of the campaign. I always like to show you I mean business by paying for the art and design upfront!
Playtesting and Reviewing. Best Treehouse Ever: Forest of Fun has been tested by many different playtesters and even a bunch of game designers. I have sent a bunch of prototypes to a variety of reviewers. I want to earn your trust by providing you with a solid product that has been thoroughly tested and reviewed by folks from varying backgrounds and perspectives.
Past Experience. This is the tenth Kickstarter project I've run for Green Couch Games and I have helped with several other successful campaigns. Also, having spent many years working in retail and customer service, I understand the importance of treating backers with respect and following through with projects.
Of course, there are always unexpected circumstances that pop up, but I PROMISE to communicate every step of the way and do my best to use creative problem solving meet the challenges head on.
Thank you so much for giving Green Couch Games a chance. As a small company, I truly can't do this without you. I will do my best to thank you by creating great little games that you love to play.
