Have you ever dreamed of building a super awesome treehouse? Now it’s time to live that dream! In Best Treehouse Ever, players compete to build the best treehouse in the neighborhood. Players will outfit their treehouse with the coolest rooms, all while making sure their tree doesn't tip over…and that their rooms are the most impressive at the end of the game. Building takes place over three weeks/rounds, and at the end of the third week the winner will be the player with the best treehouse ever!

Each round, players use card drafting and spatial reasoning to add 5 new rooms to their treehouse. Players must pay attention to the other treehouses being built since they will take turns determining which types of rooms score for everyone at the end of each round.

Best Treehouse Ever is small box card game that appeals to a wide audience. This game will satisfy gamers and families looking for a quick, easy-to-teach experience that provides player interaction on every turn.

Best Treehouse Ever is a game for 2 to 4 players, ages 10 and up and plays in about 20-30 minutes. The game is designed by Scott Almes (Tiny Epic Kingdom, Tiny Epic Defenders, Tiny Epic Galaxies, Harbour, Kings of Air and Steam, and Martian Dice).

As we get closer to our funding goal, we'll be announcing some sweet STRETCH GOALS to keep the party going. We have plans to add value to Best Treehouse Ever that we think you will really appreciate. We plan to add value by upgrading components, including more great art, and increasing replayability with added game content.

We have several stretch goals in mind and we hope to hit them all! But know that just as with our first campaign for Fidelitas, we won't likely be adding more just to add more. We believe that more isn't always better, especially if it holds up production and delays delivery.

That being said, we'll be listening closely to your feedback and ideas and will carefully consider all the ideas that comes our way.

UNLOCKED! Adding linen finish to the game cards gives a great tactile dimension and polished look to the product making your Treehouse just a wee bit fancier! We shot past our funding goal to $16,500! Upgrade activated!

UNLOCKED! These Bonus Cards add a new layer to gameplay! Intended as a variant, hidden goal cards will provide a new challenge and lots of extra replayability when adding this 6 cards mini-expansion to every copy of Best Treehouse Ever.

UNLOCKED! We get to put the talents of Adam McIver to work once again to add more rooms to the Treehouse! 12 additional rooms will add more of the fantastic art that helps make this game so special. Instead of 24 unique rooms and 3 copies of each in the deck, we'll be looking at 36 rooms with only 2 copies of each. 

UNLOCKED! We will upgrade 4 of the wooden octagon tokens to custom acorn meeples to use for the Balance Markers! Everybody likes custom wooden bits, right? These little things will add a whole new level of cuteness/thematic integration to the game components.

UNLOCKED! Advanced Bonus Cards! These add yet another small twist on the gameplay of our little game; 6 new cards but you get more points for building them higher in the tree! These cards will be delivered in a plastic sleeve outside the box and will not be included in the retail version of the game. They may become available later on at conventions and online, Kickstarter backers get them first!

UNLOCKED! At $37,500 every Treehouse Room in the game will be unique! That's double the amount of cards currently in the game. 72 rooms of Treehouse fun! 

UNLOCKED! 4 more cards added to the promo pack (available first to our awesome backers before anybody else) will open up new scoring possibilities! For this variant, players will be able to choose from 2 additional Game Changer Cards (2 copies of each will be included) types; 1 that will allow a player with the least amount of a specific room type to be the only player to score that type, and another that allows a player with the most of a room type to be the only one to score it.

It would be nice if the kids actually had a way to get into the treehouse! Adam will spend some time adding ladder illustrations to the Starting Tree Cards! Each ladder will match one of the player colors!

UNLOCKED! These are going to be cool! And we're working on a couple different ways to use them! They'll be included in the Promo Pack with the Advanced Bonus Cards and Advanced Game Changers that will only be available to Kickstarter backers at first!

 Scott Almes is the designer of the successful Tiny Epic series (Gamelyn Games), as well as other hits such as Harbour, Martian Dice, and Kings of Air and Steam. Adam McIver is a gamer, artist, and game designer from Chicago. Risks and challenges

My experience with our first campaign, Fidelitas, a game of medieval meddling, provided quite the learning curve. And so far I have been able to avoid delays and common pitfalls by paying special attention to the following areas and building on previous experience:

Art and Design. The art and design for the game is well on it's way to completion so we'll be ready to print shortly after the close of the campaign. I wanted to show you I mean business by paying for the art and design upfront!

Playtesting and Reviewing. Best Treehouse Ever has been tested by many different groups and has been played at Unpub. I have sent out more than 30 prototypes to reviewers around the world. I want to earn your trust by providing you with a solid product that has been thoroughly tested and reviewed by folks from varying backgrounds and perspectives.

Past Experience. This is only the second Kickstarter project I've run for Green Couch Games but I have helped with several other successful campaigns. Also, having spent many years working in retail and customer service, I understand the importance of treating backers with respect and following through with projects.

Of course, there are always unexpected circumstances that pop up, but I PROMISE to communicate every step of the way and do my best to use creative problem solving meet the challenges head on.
