Scenes of Chance II Mini is a storytelling tool. Whether you need a quick, on-the-fly scene, or simply inspiration for the story you're trying to tell, Scenes of Chance is perfect for you.
Why is this one a $1-2 more than last time? Frankly because the tuck box costs more than the actual cards do. But it's still under $10 so that's less than I spend at McDonald's (dang fast food has gotten expensive).
The featured tuck boxes will be big enough to hold SoC Mini I & II together. The tuck box is just as high of quality as a bigger one with a full gloss finish.
SoC II mini works together with SoC I mini so you must have a copy of the original mini edition. I will offer the original mini edition again if you missed out.
Add the original mini edition to any tier for $8 per copy (+ $2 shipping international).

This campaign is only one week as I plan to get these out before the holidays. I don't know for sure yet but the card count will be around 20+, same as the first edition. This mini edition makes a great gift for any dungeon master to give to their players.
Here's how it works:
Each 2" x 2" scene card represents a specific icon, with eight other icons surrounding it. Flip the card and whichever set number lands closest to being the top left corner are the icons you use with your new variable cards. All scene cards are double sided.
All variable cards come with new sentences to build your scenes on the go, no dice needed. Use SoC mini while sitting down, waiting in line, pretty much anywhere.
Variable lists still follow the same formula; 1 is bad, 4 is good.
1 = Combat, 2 = Traps/Hazards, 3 = Skill Challenge, 4 = Reward
This edition also features a battle stained die. Remember SoC mini is a KS exclusive, it will never be in stores.
Also featured are quests. The scene cards represented with city icons (tavern, blacksmith, etc.) will be tossed just like a regular scene card. However, their variable cards will link quests.
For example the blacksmith card below is flipped and lands with a 1 face up. You look at the blacksmith variable card and see the quest for 1 is
"The blacksmith has a map, he asks to split the spoils"
As you can see from the scene card this map leads to a place in the swamp, with a feature and ongoing event. so roll the card die for those three icons and create your scene in the swamp using the treasure map the blacksmith has handed you. He's hoping you score big so he reaps some of the reward.
