About this project
It's that time!!!
We saw the need: Streamlining the processes of the ministry of music. Enabling choir members to learn quicker and rehearse more effectively while assisting the administrative arms of the ministry to provide information effectively, comprehensively and in a timely manner.
We pondered a solution: Wouldn't it be cool if there were an "App for That?" A single point where all the needed information is pushed from, in advance of rehearsals or services, directly to the smartphones of the members.
And 1-A-Chord Music Ministry Mobile app was born!
One point for choir and band members to access selections, lyrics, vocal parts, ministry calendar, social media, attire, devotionals and more right on their iPhone, iPad, Android or Windows smartphone.
THE APP IS DONE! We have created it, alpha tested it, tweaked it; beta tested it and we're ready to hit the road! Thanks to the wonderful music ministries that allowed us to use their members and garner feedback on the functionality of the app!!
Customizable by church and even further BY CHOIR within a music ministry. Select the modules you need for the group the app is serving. The website is live and we are headed to debut the product to the mass market.
We have chosen the Gospel Heritage Praise and Worship Conference in Atlanta, GA February 14-16, 2013 as the locale of the launch and we need your help to launch the app with excellence.
The development work is done, the collateral is designed promotional apps have been created for attendees to play with during their attendance at the conference to get the hang of it and all that's left are the logistical details of the launch event.
YOUR DOLLARS will go directly to hosting the launch in Atlanta. Venue fees, food and beverage costs, invitations for the launch reception, printing of the already designed collateral materials (brochures, banners, handouts).
Any dollars achieved over our goal will go directly to our next exhibition event. Our main point of engagement will be at faith based music focused conferences across the US.
A few of the rewards:
A signed copy of my first book entitled Divine Logistics
Your own 1-A-Chord Ministry in Music T Shirt and other neat giveaways as tokens of our gratitude for your support.
A two day workshop for your ministry of music at your church or organization. A lively in depth encounter with your ministry members. More than musicality, let's talk about our Ministry. Each individual's personal offering to the greater Ministry of Music.
We are overjoyed at the response the app has received within the faith based community!! We have done our very best to provide a product that meets the needs of this specific sector of ministry and pray that you will join us in supporting it's development and promotion to groups large and small that desire to minister more effectively.
Tell everyone you know to visit our site, and support our project. Hopefully we will see you soon in person at the launch or at your organization's app debut!!

Risks and challenges
We have done our very best to mitigate our risks. The launch event is the culmination of a lot of hard work to have a product ready to go BEFORE we head out.
We have alpha and beta tested the application with success. We have located and secured our back end developers. The website is up and running and we have secured design for our logos and collateral materials.
We just need to get there!
Our biggest challenge will be the roll out once the launch occurs. Reaching out to churches and faith based organizations nationally is a challenge we are actively preparing for. Technology has really made the world a lot smaller for what we are endeavoring to do, but we never want to lose the personal touch.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
