Norse arts is a proprietorship that was founded in Crawford Bay B.C. Canada in 2014. Norse artwork is our ancestral birthright which we have to preserve for the next generations of our children to come. Sacred designs and historical renderings must be Kept alive, it is our duty here at Norse Arts. We have approximately 5 months put into a 25' God pole and there is approximately 1000 more hours of carving alone but we do not have a permanent residence or studio to complete this piece. We would love to have funding to purchase a property to carry on a legacy of cultural and historical significant projects that will be available for both private collections and public displays as donations to parks and municipalities.
Risks and challenges
Not having a permanent art gallery and studio is a stressful situation. We are working out in the elements almost every day. Producing high end art and trying to find a venue to display this piece will be difficult. Donation of this particular sculpture to a municipality or provincial park in the Kootenay area may be an option. If you know of some one who may be interested in helping with this project financially or with studio space and residence please help us to preserve what is cultural for the Folk.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
