I am planning to get this project greenlit via steam as that is the main outlet in which I am looking to sell this game! So if you dig this, go give it a thumbs up! :D

Super Dickman is a game idea that I had about a year ago. I didn't really pursue it much however. This past month I devoted to getting a lot of the coding complete as well as getting a very talented artist on board!
The reason this Kickstarter Campaign exists is because as this project unfolds before me I have realized that it has been taking up a large portion of my time, and to truly see this through to the best of my ability there are some expenses that need to be covered!
I mentioned I have aquired a talented artist, well sadly the work that she is doing is not free. Although if you are reading this... COME ON ;D
Secondly I would like to market this game successfully, I have made some android applications/games in the past and never really bothered with any kind of marketing strategies or techniques (mainly due to lack of funding), I would kind of just release something and see how it went, usually pretty bad.
Thirdly, there are some licenses that I as a game creator must purchase, one being the developer license and another being some software license that I will need the most premium access (the most expensive) to in order to get my game to the final stages.
And last but not least, my own personal time and livelihood. If this project gets funded, I will drop everything else around me and be taking this on. Time = money.
The story for this game has already been written, it is an action, platformer, romantic, and comedy game; the list could probably go on! I have finished the majority of the coding, and I have my artist hard at work. What I will be spending the majority of my time doing now will be building out the game content, as in, fleshing out the actual story into gameplay.
I really had a tough time figuring out when this project will be complete. Putting a time stamp on it makes me feel rushed, do I think it will take a year to complete? Honestly, not at all! However, I don't want to say three months from now, then have something go wrong and need the full year! I would estimate next September as an absolute maximum for when this game will be completed!
There are elements to the game that I simply do not want to disclose at this point in time as I want them to be new and exciting to the player when they fire this game up for the first time!
I can say however, that games that I have in mind while creating SDM have been some of my favorites as a kid, and those include but are not limited to, Kirby, Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario 64! Expect SDM to play like all of them MASHED together but with the adult edge!
Where will this game be played?
For now SDM will be available on Windows/Mac/Linux!
Possibly smart phone and tablet at a later date!
Why ten thousand dollars? Between the above mentioned expenses as well as the Kickstarter fee (5%) and the Amazon credit card processing fee (3-5%) there needs to be SOME meat left on the bone to finish this game and have all of the art produced.
Risks and challenges
This is tough to say giving the nature of what I am supposed to write here! As far as set backs go, they can be completely unpredictable, I believe for where the game is at now, looking at my estimated delivery date, even with some setbacks this game will still be on time!
