Isometric Building Simulation Game
Lunar Colony is a game where you will build and colonize the galaxy. The game will mostly involve in planing and resource management. The game will be available to both PC and the Android Tablet.
Colonize planet by mining the planet's resources and build settlements and communities within the provided area. Making sure your workers and citizens are happy will provide you with rewards and better economic gains. Create Hydroponics to provide your citizen with food and oxygen they need to survive in this unforgiving planet. Protect your citizen and building from natural disasters that the planet has by building Defense system such as Laser beams or Nuclear power stations. Complete the game objectives and move on to another planet, (there will be more than 30 planets to explore!).
The main objective of the game is to colonize as much of the planet as you are able to while giving you permanent reward from doing it such as technology or item that you able to keep in the game. Technology and Items will help you to mine faster and more efficient, or deal with natural disasters easier.
The game is set in the year 2120 and humanity has finally bought the Earth to its knees, The Earth is overpopulated. Over mining of the Earth’s minerals have caused increased instability in the Earth’s crust and earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other weather disasters are creating havoc worldwide. The air is polluted due to overuse of fossil fuels and global warming. Superbugs are breeding well into the crowded cities and plagues caused by these are common in the hospitals. A crisis meeting is called by the United Nations and a decision is made that it is time to abandon Earth.
For the survival of humanity, the countries of the world need to join in a massive bid to make large generation ships that will transport the people of Earth into the stars to create colonies on the many Earth like planets that have been discovered recently.
Initial exploratory missions have discovered some very valuable minerals that are capable of powering electrical stations with little of the side effects caused by nuclear power. The closest of these mineral deposits has been discovered on the moon so a mission to the Moon is planned to mine these minerals to allow the expansion of the fleets to further afield in the galaxy. Time is of the essence as the Earth is slowly dying and there are a lot of people to move.
The minerals are to be shipped back to the shipyards that have been created in orbit around Earth to power the giant starships that will transport all of humanity to the stars.
The player will start at one point (the hangar). The hangar serves as a bridge between people who are trying to come in and settle down in the colony or a visitor on holiday and looking for entertainment in your colony. Visitor will start coming when the player build entertainment place.At the start of the game you will have 6 colonists and few minerals to create a road and other facility for you. Other colonist will come once you start creating rooms for them to sleep and that’s what the player should create at the start of the game. Every facility and tunnel will cost the player some minerals, player are able to gain minerals by creating a tunnel and connect them into a mineral (which scarted around the map). There are different types of mineral and some mineral will have higher value but may consist more challenge such as more rock on the way to clear which cost time and money (miner upkeep/salary). Player will also need to create generator to run the road and other facility, without generator the function of facility will goes off (lights, and electric will be cut off). Player also needs to keep in mind about the oxygen level around the colony. Player can create more oxygen by using the oxygen creator room (need generator), or plant trees around the colony which cost maintenance. When player got the basic facility such as room and oxygen, player will need to create other facility such as cafeteria or bathroom. Like any other human being the colonist will need to eat and rest, they will also need entertainment to keep their stress level low. As the creator of the colony player can chose different path of leading the colonist such as making them work hard and suppress riot with security or give the colonist prosperity by creating a lot of entertainment industry ad keep them happy.When player got the basic facility running, player now able to create entertainment building such as bar. The bar will make people happy and allow visitors to visit your colony. Visitors who come to your colony will spend their money on your entertainment facility and hotel which will give you profit. Money can be used to pay salary and also a requirements to create a new facility (some facility cost both money and mineral). Player can also spend their money on facility such as armory which enables the player to create a new tool to dig the mineral. Player can also research technology such as teleportation (to enable miner to travel faster) by researching them on the lab (cost time and resource). The game is level based and player needs to follow the requirement of each level to pass.
Below are the list of building currently available in the Alpha build. More buildings will be made in the future, the amount will be depending how much the project is funded.
Hangar work as drop point for mined resource and also serve as landing point for plane that transport citizen and visitor.
Mine Nod are build in top of mineral. Once Mine Nod are created, the worker can start mine the mineral and send it back to the hangar where player can use the resource to build other building.
Power Generator is build to generate power for the Colony. Power generator is a vital building and the backbone of creating a colony. This building should be the first prioritize to be repaired in an event of natural disaster.
Hydroponics is a vital building for the colony as it provide both Oxygen and Food for the colonist. Without enough oxygen and food, your citizen will start leaving the colony.
Living unit serve as home for the colonist. Colonist will rest and sleep in their living unit. The player will have to make sure to have enough Living unit. The citizen will leave if their house is demolished. Creating more living unit will also attract more colonist to settle in your colony.
Casino generate income and attract visitor from other planet. Visitor will come and generate extra income for the player
Bar might not generate higher income than Casino but are cheaper to build and attract more visitor and customer. Bar also is very highly socialize place and will increase the happiness level of your citizen and visitor.
Building Cafeteria will let your Citizen to eat and reduce their hunger level. Cafeteria will also provide income for the player although not as much as other building. Nevertheless Cafeteria is important building and player need to make sure everyone has access to it to keep the citizen well fed.
Cinema is costly to build but will generate huge income for the colony. It also provide happiness and popularity in your colony.
Mother ship and Armory will enable the player to buy technology or items to help them to build the colony and mine more efficiently.

Resource come in a form of Minerals or Money. Minerals can be earn by creating mineral nod in top of minerals that is scarred around the planet. Money can be earned by creating entertainment building or trade mineral to other planet. Depending on the mineral, some mineral will value more than other mineral, the amount will also vary. Bigger mineral will usually have bigger challenge (more rock surrounding it and distance to hangar)
Technology can be researched (cost money and mineral).
While Items can be bought in the market (cost money and mineral).
Technology and items will help player along the way.

Worker do various task in the colony such as Building roads, Mining, and Repair. Worker will cost an upkeep but will also spend their money in your entertainment building.

Visitor will generate income to the colony by visiting entertainment buildings. The higher rating your colony have, the more visitor will come to your colony. Rating and Popularity level can be increase by various way such as advertising or pleasing the customer and provide them with entertainment they seek.

Note that this is the online concept version, depending on the funding some feature will not be add.
Note that the game level still in ALPHA and meet with technical difficulty such as lighting, but this is easily fixable.
As you all know well creating game can be costly and take a very long time. Our team currently only have 3 member with multiple role. We are trying to keep our game quality as the one we show you, but the progress are really slow with only 3 people. This project was made in 5 months by our team and we come a long road to come this far. With your funding we can hire additional programmer and artist and speed up the game development much quicker. The more we are funded, the more feature we will also put. We will also listen to the community, any suggestion will be taken seriously as this is Indie game, and I want everyone to enjoy playing it. Risks and challenges
Our game prototype is already playable in Android with 60 FPS to 40 FPS (when Colony reach its peak). The project does not have much risk, as the programming is already finished without any noticeable bugs, this is thanks to our great programmer. One thing we need to take into consideration is the building time, as we are unable to afford building a 2 years project without any support.
As the game runs perfectly in Android Tablet, and Iphone 5, it will also run perfectly on PC.
Please note that the game is still in Alpha stage, graphics will improve later by updates. The game will also have animations and various 3D models. The amount of buildings will also increase depending how much funds we can raise.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
