Why Should I Read your Manga?
Children’s books and television shows these days are nothing compared to the ones that many of us had growing up. At least that’s what we tell ourselves. I think back fondly on those days of watching Rugrats and Scooby Doo marathons and scoff at the thought of modern-age children rotting their brains with Spongebob and Annoying Orange. But the fact of the matter is that letting kids subject themselves to those books and animations is important to the development of reading comprehension and critical thinking skills, though the shows now seem like garbage to our fully-developed minds.
In Japan, the same sort of issue arises with kids becoming obsessed with manga and anime. Parents may try to insist that their children put away the comics and pick up a real book. Some may even go so far as to throw out their child’s comic magazines as they begin to pile up. However, according to one of the professors at Tama University, Yuichi Higuchi, in his short essay “Are you a Bad Parent?” keeping kids away from their anime and comics is a terrible thing to do!
Let’s start with the manga. According to Professor Higuchi, reading and rereading the same manga many times over is the best way for children to naturally develop their language skills. This refers to more than just basic comprehension of the plot, which can generally be achieved after one quick read-through. For a child to pick up on the deeper meaning behind the words — the foreshadowing and the nuanced humor, hidden between precise turns of phrase and balanced visual depictions — it takes at least two or three reads for the full breadth of the story to unfold.
Every time a child rereads their manga of choice, there is something new that they discover. The words and speech patterns make a little more sense and the meaning behind them becomes that much more clear. Every time a child reads that story their ability to comprehend it expands just a little. They are learning in a way that they love, so why not show some encouragement when they toss aside their textbooks for a well-worn comic? At least with manga, Japanese kids are getting in a bit of kanji practice, yeah? manga also has ways of raising a child’s reading comprehension. The secret is providing discussion which leads to critical thinking.
If your kids love anime, then they’ll love to share the experience with you and to talk about it. Engaging them in something that they love can be both fun and eye-opening. All it takes are some simple questions like, “What was the most interesting part?” to get their brains cooking up some comparisons and judgments. Now, you don’t want to kill their joy by firing of standardized test questions in the middle of the show, but even saying things to yourself like, “ I wonder why the character did that…” can inspire critical thinking in children.
In addition, manga can drastically broaden a child’s vocabulary. Not everything that comes up is as inappropriate as Naruto’s “Harem Technique” or as nonsensical as Ichigo’s “Heaven Chain Slaying Moon” sword.
What it really comes down to is that there’s no good reason to separate kids from the things that they’re interested in. With manga and anime in particular, there’s great potential for learning language skills. Don't believe me? Read our manuscript of RockSteady Season 1
Rock Steady is an action/adventure manga
The Author
The goals we have for this organization stretch beyond what people can imagine in their figmentation from what we can tell. Since people don’t have quite a realization of how far they can reach with what they have not yet seen they become skeptics to what’s abstract to their perspective and prefer to stay with the standard way of living instead of adjusting their lives to forge new bonds towards new and exceptional results. My goal is to endow people with ideas similar to mine with the hope of shining light upon their normal way of life to change their situations for the better in order for them to grow as well. Now that we have proceeded relatively quickly now we aspire to have our work released to others in hope of getting admiration and help the people in need.
The concept name of Rock Steady manifests exactly what it means in every way conceivable because it is a group of individuals that have united to better the children and people of society through our novel about Rock and how music is progressing. In our history of being established we had begun producing merchandise for the community and with our knowledge of anime intertwined with our talents in multitasking we created something worthy of taking over the genre as a whole.

You will be notified if there are any changes). These sketches were created by the artist but the manga will not include these images. We have hired an expert manga artist to draw the manga and it should be published December of 2014. Heiwa Maverick- A young 16 year old boy. Heiwa is very smart, cunning, and friendly. He plays the guitar, controls the wind element and is able to tap into two souls within him, with enormous strength. Along the line Heiwa gains the "eyes of god" which allow him to see his actions ahead of time and determine how they will effect him, and can calculate the power of his opponents, the double edged sword is the more heiwa uses these eyes the more he starts to lose control of himself to his power. Heiwa learns how to acheive second stage of his grace allowing him to become faster and changes his weapon/clothing. Once Hiewa loses Dante's soul the balance of power unique to Hiewa start to go astray and Hiewa is internally battling himself. This is the main character within the anime and as such his image is essential. Hiewa Maverick has short blonde hair, wears school clothing with a guitar strapped to his back. When he's in a fight he uses his release which changes his clothing into rock like clothing which is either white or red depending on which soul he decides to use. On his left arm is a bracelet which regulates the amount of power he exerts.
Naomi Seigi- Super strong, and controls the earth element. Plays the bass which she can transform into a blunt weapon. Naomi is a sensor type and can sense anything she focuses on in the surrounding area. Naomi can also reach second stage and her weapon transforms into a giant axe/blunt type weapon with a chain attached to her hilt, that she wields with ease. Naomi is able to sense the presence of other soul wielders. She has long blonde hair while playing the bass guitar. In her normal school clothing she doesn't have one.
Ki- is arrogant and ill mannered. He wields a keyboard and controls the fire element. He is able to reach 2nd stage and transforms his weapon into an extended flaming scythe like weapon "similar to hidan from naruto" one of ki's special abilites in this stage is that he is able to burn anything by intensifying the pressure and burning the air. Ki is a tall figure rarely in clothes but when he does he wears something similar to that of a bikers vest but much longer. His hair has red spikes that stretch from the front to the back of his head.
