Final Components #1

Hello, Ascendants!

I am proud to be sharing a look at most of our final components today! These are all the "bits" in the game, i.e. the miniatures, gemstones, bloodstones, Omega Stone, Golden Rounds, dice, and cards! The other remaining printed materials such as the immolation board, character mats, omega index, card tuck boxes, and the actual box all will have metallic gold ink effects on them, and we are waiting to receive these samples in the following weeks at which time I will post another Final Components update to show you those!

So let's begin with the miniatures! I placed the Kings next to their respective Revenants for these images. I hope my camera shots turned out ok. The quality of the miniatures is very good and we are happy with the result! Check it out!

On to the Gemstones! These beauties are exactly what I wanted in terms of their shape and size. While I am happy with the colors, there has been mention of making the red gems a bit of a darker or more "ruby" colored red. What do you guys think? Should we have the Pyre Gems darkened a bit?

Also, I know I already mentioned this before, but just to reiterate: The reason the Black, White, Green and Red gems are opaque is to create a consistent look between those gems whereas the Ylem Gemstone (the source of magical power) is special and stands apart from the others as transparent. Check these out!

Now for the Bloodstones! THESE ARE GREAT!! They have a sort of ancient look about them, I believe these are made from an actual polished stone material. They stack very nicely for someone who has to drop 3 or 4 bloodstones onto the board, and they look awesome!

The almighty Omega Stone is really great too! Our Omega Glyph embossed into this rugged stone-like material turned out perfect and feels really good in your hand! This I'm especially happy with because it is the platform upon which you stand your miniature to claim victory :D

Here is our custom and very special Golden Rounds! (Shakespearean term for Crowns from Macbeth)
Now, these babies are really sweet! These are made out of Zinc Alloy, and as you can see are a lustrous gold. They have a very nice weight and are really nice to handle, don't get them stuck on your finger!! Lol.

The final cards! The cards are a nice professional quality, of course, and are just super thanks to Anthony Benedetto's art!

Last but not least in this update are all the final dice! These are the same colors as the gemstones, matching the focus of the King/Revenant character played. I'm thinking about making the blue a bit deeper, what do you guys think? Please let me know everything you guys think in the comments!

There will be more updates in the near future showing the rest of the components, as well as further information on when you can expect the surveys to be sent out. I will talk to you guys soon!

I think the stones look great! The Ylem looks pretty cool, but the other gems look like plastic. I don't know what your guy's resources look like, so I understand if getting them any other way is out of the question, but maybe throwing some sort of gloss or something to make them shiny could be cool. Otherwise, the Pyre gem looks fine color wise, but it would probably look just as good a darker color. Definitely agree with making the blue dice a bit darker. The crowns look great as well. Excited to see more. Keep up the good work guys!

Beautiful all the way around. Can't wait to see this in my collection and play with the family. I agree with all Markus said about gems and whatnot.

Darker red gems and even darker green gems would be cool. As mentioned red ones like rubies and maybe green ones like malachite. Also transparent dice corresponding to the Ylem gems would be great.
