Scott and Samantha are known for their highly energetic stage performances, addictive songs and CDs that include not only their cheeky cabaret vocal tunes but also incorporate wild pounding drums and melodic danceable instrumentals.
Be a part of bringing their new songs to the world on 2 new CDs by participating in this Kickstarter campaign!
(We will send out cool fancy artsy certificates with reward gifts that you tell us are for Yule/Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa presents so that you have something tangible to give!)
Funds collected will go directly toward the recording, mixing, mastering and production/manufacturing of what will be blazing and exciting CDs... what you have come to know and love from the once Gypsy Nomads and now Frenchy and the Punk! We are keeping the amount lower than what the project will cost, the more that is raised, the earlier we can release it and the more information can be in the CDs like having a lyric booklet! (If the amount raised does exceed the complete cost it will go toward printing a booklet of lyrics of the songs on our 2010 Happy Madness CD, something we get asked for a lot but have not been able to produce. If we are able to print that, each person contributing $10 or more will receive the lyric booklet along with the other gifts.)
So, for all of you who have asked us, "What CD are the drumming instrumentals on?" ... we will hopefully be able to answer that soon! For those of you who say "Do you have a new CD since Happy Madness?" we will hopefully say YES! very soon.
The Drum and Dance CD will have new songs that we've been playing live like Isis Rising and Steampunk Drum and many more brand new ones like The Elephant Uproar and new vocal tunes too, as well as updated versions of Blacksmith, Carnival, The Chase, Dust and Sand in the Caravan, Celtic Sprite, and Belly Trance.
The Cabaret CD to follow up the Happy Madness CD will have some fantabulous and cheeky cabaret, vaudevillian, vocal tunes... we can't wait for you to hear them!!! We've given you a teaser peek of a couple of them in the video above.
Thank you for everything you do! Thank you for supporting independent music and art! Every dollar helps :) Please spread the word.
Merci, Danka, Gracias, Obligado!
p.s. please message us if you have ANY questions :)
