NET-SWIMWEAR «VON ALICE»
With the mission of local manufacturing and sourcing of recycled quality materials from Italy, we created the Net-Swimwear Collection VON ALICE. By working with a Swiss manufacturer, we can significantly reduce CO2-emissions while supporting the local industry.
Our Swiss product is made in collaboration with Alice's sewing company from Lugano, located in the Ticino region, south of Switzerland.
The design of the Net-Swimwear Collection VON ALICE is dedicated to a great fit - its minimalistic look is timeless. Suitable for a refreshing swim on a warm summer day as well as being easy to combine with shorts or a t-shirt for a drink with your friends after the swim.
Our women's Net-Suit «VERZASCA» is available in four colors: Black Coal, Copper, Cobalt Blue and Light Shadows. It comes in the two sizes (S/M). The Light Shadows design is a collaboration with designer Kim Pham. Kim won the «NEW & NEXT COMPETITION» from Heimtextil in Frankfurt, Germany with Light Shadows. Read more about this here.
Adjustable straps and two way elasticity makes the swimsuit easy to wear for a wide range of sizes (see size guide bellow).
For the men's Net-Shorts «MAGGIA», we designed a classic and timeless look. The durable fabric is combined with a soft cotton cord. Available in black it stocks in three sizes (S/M/L).
The shorts come with handy pant pockets in the front and one in the back providing room for your summer essentials. They are made with comfortable legroom. The length can easily be adjusted by folding and unfolding the hem.
MATERIAL SOURCE: FROM THE SEA
Lost fishing nets, known as ghost nets are found trapping fish, birds, whales and other wildlife, which then threaten the world’s ocean ecosystems. They make-up around 40 percent of the global marine pollution.
With garments from ECONYL® Italy, our product satisfies highest ecological standards. To obtain the source material for our garments, ECONYL® collects ghostnets and nylon waste from all over the world to carefully produce a recycled yet durable yarn.
Thanks to its innovative character, our swimwear is twice as resistant to chlorine, sun creams and oils than a comparable fabric and tops with substantial results in UV-protection.
For the «VERZASCA» Light Shadows swimsuit we have chosen a fabric made out of recycled polyester from pre and post consumer materials.
