About this project
As seen in:
N.B. All pledges shipped to US addresses includes shipping right up to your door!
As iPads and iPhones, and Androids, Nooks and Kindles and web readers and what nots take over, fewer and fewer of us have actual paper books in our bookshelves, in our homes. Pascal, the French guy, misses his old, dusty, smelly, sometimes pretentious French books. Pascal believes everyone should get to enjoy books and art, and what better way then to combine the two?
In short Pascal took matters into his own little paws and made posters out of his favorite books. These posters are the world's greatest literature turned into art posters: Dante, Cervantes, Austen, Kafka, Shakespeare, Strindberg, Joyce, the Bible, Brothers Grimm, Carroll, Plato, Sojourner Truth, Darwin, the US Declaration of Independence...
These posters feature words from timeless literature, focusing on the most frequent words in a particular text and with a color palette adjusted to that piece of work's subject matter and tone of voice, arranged in contemporary, lofty word clouds that basically make any old wall look great.
The posters will be printed on superior matte, acid free, green & recycled, luxurious and thick, 300 gr/sqm high quality art poster paper making them the pride of any wall.
Pascal promises to, no later than August 1st, 2012 print these posters and send them to you, nicely rolled up and ready to be hung on your walls! International shipping: add USD 10 to your pledge.
