Hello Guys, they are all being shipped this week and next. Uk is first as its the easiest for us and easy to fix any issues that may arise. Then its Europe and then the rest of the world. Everything should have left us though by the end of next week as we are currently almost half way through. Hope that helps, regards Andy

    23. Mad Gaming Terrain 2-time creator on

@ Phil, sorry you will have to attach them yourself :-( you guys have brought far to much for my speedy hands to manage. We will have videos that will show you how we do it although there might be better ways.

+1 on adrian robson's comments. It is over a month since the last update. Where are things at regarding shipping?

    30. adrian robson on

So I have to ask the question about shipping. I dont want to, but. On August 8th you stated shipping was likely to happen in the next 2 weeks. It has not.
there have been a number of questions about shipping which you have ignored.
There has been no update on your facebook site.

As a backer I simply want to know what is happening.

      Please reply or respond

Hi. I sent a PM please check and help me with my query. Thanks.

    33. Mad Gaming Terrain 2-time creator on

@ Phil Shearrer. No prep work at all but if i did it again I would paint before I assembled. All I did because it needed to be quick was 1; Under Coat with white spray which did a few Hab Blocks, not sure how many. This gave a good flat undercoat. I then air brushed (Cheap Air Brush) some normal off white household emulsion paint (needs to be watered down) and applied several thin coats to give a nice even spread. (Important to us and off white because you will apply all the detail using a white spray can afterwards). All the detail was added with stencils using coloured spray cans. something else we did was to use a grey spray can to create the graduated colour from grey to white on each Hab Block and Hab Block Roof. This was applied by spraying just in front of the Hab Block allowing the grey to appear to fade as it went up the side of the Hab Block. The stencils on the side of the Hab Block were added after the Grey spray had been applied. We could do a video if enough of you were interested but I presume you will all have your own idea's. Hope it helps Andy

Would like to know what you used to make the hex pattern and if you did any prep-work or washing before you painted them.
      thx

    37. Jordan Mechanic on

Quick question. The paint jobs you have on the buildings in the pics look fantastic with smooth coverage. What did you use to prime? I always have a tough time getting even coverage on MDF since it soaks up the primer/paint like a sponge.

    38. Mad Gaming Terrain 2-time creator on

Nice job everyone and thank you all for making this project a reality.

So Andy.. Less than a £100 until next stretch goal.. What's the chance of giving it to us anyway ☺

      martin burke on

Come on peeps, let's get it over 16k for those walkways..maybe if we are a few pounds shy, they will throw them in anyway ☺

It's cool just send me an extra one on my early bird ☺

    43. Mad Gaming Terrain 2-time creator on

@ Matin & Peter you are both very right it is 18, thank you for letting me know. I think the mistake has happened because we have added so much after the launch to give you a better deal that a few things have slipped passed. We will always make sure you guys are sorted and don't lose out.

    44. Missing avatar

      martin burke on

I think that's just an error, you'd get 18. Their are a few errors throughout the KS

    45. Peter Wong on

How does Pledge 7 getting 3 additional hab blocks equal 17?
Pledge 7 originally comes with 15, so 3 additional should equal 18 hab blocks.

    46. Missing avatar

      martin burke on

It's starting to pick up a bit. Let's hope we get near some stretch goals... 20k would be nice, but at least 16k for the walkways

    47. Andreas Micheel on

I can only agree with Burkhard. I see much potential in your work, but at this Point, all we have is just square buildings (of which I already own a lot).
I love the internal accessory pack (pledge 4), but pledge 4 doesnt have roofs.
I love the Adboard pack, but pledge 7 is way too much for me

I guess I´ll just wait toll you have all this stuff regularly available in an online store and will get the goodies then.

    48. Burkhard on

I feel I need to give some feedback here.

First of all, your buildings are nice and while they are the basic box shaped buildings, they are more interesting than the others on the market in that price range.

But right now, I do not see the need for me to pledge (or since I pledged on day one, waiting to see what was to come... keep my pledge up).

As I have said before. the 150 GBP and higher are more than I need. 100 GBP is about the max for me. Since I would need to go tall rather than wide it would be Pledge 5.

BUT, right now Pledge 5 (as well as the early bird I am on right now) are a little too bare looks wise. Yes I know you are saying that I can buy extra stuff when the buildings hit general retail in February, but to be honest, that is not appealing for a number of reasons:

      1) I have no idea what the stuff released in Feb will look like, so I am pledging on a vague notion that I might like them.
      2) I have no idea what the stuff released in Feb will cost, so I have no idea if I will actually buy or find it too expensive.
      3) I have no idea how much my total order in Feb will be and what the shipping conditions will be. So S&H might actually be eating up any KS saving I might have now.
      4) I have no idea, if your company will still be there in Feb. (Sorry, but these things can happen as well.)

So right now I am really torn and am leaning to withdrawing my pledge. Without some visual additions (billboards, balconies, rooftop scatter) they buildings still look too bare to me and with the points i just gave, I am wondering, if I might not be better off waiting till Feb and seeing what is out then and at which price.

As I said before... I do not expect any of this as a freebee, but to have the option to simply buy some visual add-on stuff for personalisation as part of the KS would make this project more viable to me!

      Just my two cents.
