If you know me, you know it's been awhile since I've done much with my music. If you don't know, I'll just tell you: marriage, and Tiny House projects, and motherhood, and international moves, to name a few things, have made the last eight years rich and full! Too full, actually, to leave much space for music, and it got crowded out, just like that old rocker that you love, inadvertently tucked away with the arrival of the new sofa set. Rearranging can be a sacred thing, and oh-the-glory of the moment you discover how all of these things can fit together.
Graciously, for me, that moment has come! My family moved to Zanzibar last year, and were surprised to find that music started to bubble up in our lives. Something about slowing down a bit and finding more space in the days... it's good for the soul. We met and started playing with an incredible bassist (who, conveniently, happens to be an incredible person, too) and quickly realized we had stumbled together into something really special. My cohort and most preeminent musical companion, Jason Stone, and I, along with Daniel, have decided that it is time to capture the best songs from these years, and we would love you to be a part of this project!

Here is a breakdown of costs:
Would you help us make this album? We are asking for your partnership- by pre-ordering the album (or other stuff!) you will allow us to give these songs the investment (time, energy, and money) that they deserve.
Many of you have invested in us and partnered with us in multiple different endeavors over the years- our hearts are already full of gratitude. Now let's make something amazing together!
We've got everything from bloopers to gorgeous Zanzibari kikois (google it!) to naming rights of the unborn, so take a look to the right side of the page to see what might suit your fancy. We'll be posting pictures and updates along the way for all of our backers, so look out for those!
Risks and challenges
The entirety of this project will cost more than $10,000, but we are prepared for and expecting extra costs, and won't be slowed down by that! We feel very confident that we will be able to complete this, thanks to many of you. As you know by now, nothing happens if we do not reach our goal in time, but the privilege of making and sharing this album with you all is so worth that risk!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
