Who am I?
Hey, I'm Dan from Clone Manga. I've been making comics for the last 13 years or so.
My latest work, NNN, won an International Manga Award [bronze] from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and Japan Cartoonists Association last year. Now I want to bring it to print and share it with you!
What is NNN?
Inspired by Alice in Wonderland and House of Leaves, NNN is part comic, part novel, part puzzle. A strange, dream-like work permeated by feelings of loneliness, absence, and anxiety.

The comic is already done, free, and online. Feel free to read the whole thing.
Why Back NNN?
Because as good as it is online, you really need to experience it as a physical book -- You'll open up glorious two-page spreads and enjoy easily flipping back and forth between related sections as you unravel the book.
If you back NNN you won't just get a good read, you'll get a one-of-a-kind comic that you'd never be able to find through normal commercial channels. If you're an eccentric literary explorer, NNN is ready to send you to a strange, distant world.
Where does the money go?
- An initial run of hardcover books
- Time to make revisions for the second edition

Nitty Gritty Reward Details
The Digital Book: High resolution digital ebook/CBR/CBZ/PDF suitable for eReaders, your phone, or your desktop. 235 pages. DRM-free, of course.
The Hardcover Edition: Offset printed, Smyth-sewn binding with head band, tail band, and gloss-laminated dust jacket. 235 pages.
The Leather-Bound Edition: Traditionally hand-bound in leather with a stamped design on the front and stamped titled on the spine. The work will be done by a third-generation bookbinder with over twenty years of experience. 235 pages.
Audio Afterword A 1-2 hour audio recording where some of the themes and internal relations in the book will be explored, as well as some of the difficult points in making the book.
Q&A Session: 1-2 hour recording (broken up into tracks, of course -- one question per track) where readers (that's you) pose questions and get answers. If questions spill over into comics, art, and life in comics generally, that's fine. PLEASE NOTE: the Q&A will be conducted a month after the digital editions are sent out so people have a chance to read and ask questions. The answer session recording will be sent out 1-2 weeks after that.
NNN Story Details
WARNING: MILD SPOILERS
NNN is about fractured lives and fractured worlds undergoing violent transformation as they try to unify themselves into a single vision: A rabbit member of Her Majesty's Royal Lateness Council on the verge of losing his record of perfect lateness -- A Warden reliving childhood memories of a bizarre hunting ritual in which members of a poverty-stricken village become an enormous "Fire Snake of the Mountain" -- A witch who deals with feelings she never knew were possible by burying herself in (of all things) cartography. All these stories, and more, come crashing together in beautiful, unexpected ways.

Risks and challenges
I write and draw all my comics myself, so there's no chance of teams falling apart or anything like that.
Of course, there's always the chance that things take longer than expected (especially drawing requests) but everything will get done and I'll keep everyone up to date on what's happening.
