Yes, higher and higher resolutions is where the battle rages on with the action camera market. But when it comes to live streaming there are a couple considerations. First, most of your friends will be watching your live stream on their smart phones and 480p looks darn good on everything from an iPhone 6S+ to a Samsung Galaxy. Secondly, you have to look at the amount of data it takes to stream your video. At 480p we send about 1GB of data per hour up to the cloud. The higher the resolution, the more data you'll send. Now let's take about the cool part of the Sioeye Iris4G. Our resolution isn't fixed and can be changed over time. We use a camera module capable of 4K video. This means we can stream HD video if the networks can handle it. Right now we are actually testing 720p streaming with one carrier who has a really fast network just for our type of devices. If tests are successful we can simply update the Sioeye Iris4G software to support HD streaming on that particular network. And since our camera is an Android smart device, the software update can be done over the air with the touch of the screen. So don't fret, we'll be continually working on optimization and improving the live streaming resolution.
