Hello Everyone! Currently we have named all of our 2012 Kids but don't worry we will begin naming new babies as soon as they are born beginning in January. So all of your wonderful names will be used! On the building front, we are almost ready to break ground!! The building permit is ready to be picked up and Kevin promises me We will start digging footings by early October. So as soon as he gets the back hoe in position I will take photos and put them up for you to see. Keep a lookout!
      All the best,

    27. Charuth van Beuzekom Creator on July 7, 2012

Hi everyone! I have been getting some questions about shipping cheese out of state or even internationally. If the project is successful we will ship to you no matter where you are. International backers and very distant folks, may have to wait a bit longer, because we will want to ship during cooler times of the year. Thanks everyone for your support.

    28. Laura Phillips on July 6, 2012

<3 Goat Cheese.. and you did an amazing job with your video / story. (tweeted .. because you never know).. Really hope you make it!

I was telling friends of mine who run a farm/orchard (Welsh Heritage Farms) about this Kickstarter because they sell cheeses and hard cider out of a little shop next to the main store. They said they were actively looking for a supplier for goat cheeses, and Chevrie in particular. They were very excited to hear about your plans, and wondered if you do or will ship to Minnesota at all? Right now they get most of their cheeses from MN and WI, but aren't locked to that at all.

Kickstarter is an amazing resource for worthwhile projects. I'm confident that you guys will reach your goal!

    36. Meredith & Oriole Moeras on June 27, 2012

Yeah!! we did it. Oriole's got his pledge in for cheese and Morgan's goat, Ben. I got my pledge in for Abby's goat, Sally. Even recruited my dad. You go Dutch Girl Creamery. We love you.

    37. Ronald Corbari on June 27, 2012

Best of luck. Name the oldest goat Papa. That's what the grandkids (Abby and Morgan) call me.

    38. Abby & Morgan Moeras on June 27, 2012

This is such a great project. We love the cheese. Best wishes for lots of success. We tried to do multiple pledges so both kids can name a goat and Oriole get his cheese. So far one pledge accepted. I Will create another account. Abby wants a Sally and Morgan wants a Ben.
