Sorry that some people suck so trememdously. Was at C2E2 as well, but was working my booth and didnt make it over to share how happy I am with my book.
Hopefully the overall positives outweigh the negatives and aside from the occassional arsehat, it seems like most are fans of what you've done.

I got mine months ago and I just want to say - I love this and I'm so glad you did it! I need more books like this. This would have been everything to me in high school and as an adult it's still so important. And I do not know what's up with people who feel that yelling is an appropriate way to behave. That's awful and I'm so sorry you've had to deal with that.

I'm only just now getting to this. I wanted to say thank you for bringing this wonderful piece of work into the world, and sharing it with us. And I just want to say, it's ridiculous someone would actually act like this. They should be ashamed of themselves and their cowardice.

This is terrible. I am lucky and received my book. It’s one of the most beautiful things I have ever read. Thank you.

wtf, who would do that? That's so rude.

Echoing everyone else: I'm so sorry people are yelling at you over this! Thanks for creating such an amazing book and thanks for all the work you did and continue to do, at a pace that makes sense for you and your life.

I'm so sorry that people have been so awful to you over this project. It's such a wonderful story, and the art work is incredible! I'm heartbroken that you've come away from this experience feeling so pressured and disheartened. I hope you keep on creating regardless, we need more stories like Bingo Love in the world! <3

I'm so sorry that backers have been so terrible to you. Especially since Kickstarters are not corporations and are often only a few people working really hard to make something, and due to various circumstances, timelines inevitably get drawn out. It is the nature of the beast. I back things with really no assumption that I will ever see a return, so I pick projects that I think are very well thought out, semi-completed, feasible and/or important in some way. How ever long it takes to get done, it usually will, and I'm ok with that.

I only backed at the PDF tier because that's my budget. I enjoyed the story and am happy my backing of it helped it get picked up by image. We need more support for these types of stories and also diverse creators. I'm quite angry at the abuse you've been getting by people who I would think are ostensibly supporting the comic for similar reasons as myself, and I would hope would have a bit more compassion and advocate against the type of abuse you've been getting. To attack a child is really just being an even shittier person than I thought these entitled assholes were. To them I say GROW UP AND CALM DOWN, YOU'LL GET YOUR BOOK EVENTUALLY.

To you, I say thank you for creating this, and I will endeavour to but your future work and support you how I can, because that should be the point of all this.

      Hi!
First things first: Thank You for making such a lovely book!
Second: I cannot believe that there are people who yell at you or your kid! I‘m pitying such poor souls who have to do that because a Book is late…
I simply wish I could have been around your area - i would offered a helping hand. But it‘s always easy to talk when you live several thousand kilometres afar on a different continent… I‘m sorry that I really can not be of any help other than show my sympathy’s for you!

Holy shit! That's so fucked up, I'm so sorry that happened. The book is amazing, and people need to simmer down....

I am sorry this happened. As a parent, an educator, and an adult, this burns me up. It's a book. And there is nothing that young person or you did that warrants this kind of behavior. I did love the book and I will be featuring it in a upcoming #ILOVECOMICS post. Peace.

Didn't you mention your kid is, like, ten? What the fuck kind of person...? I can't even finish the sentence. Unbelievable. I'm so sorry this happened. Maybe when they get their books they will read them and learn a little about growing up, or a little about waiting to get what you want. We can hope.

I didn't know you were at C2E2, I hope I didn't walk by you without realizing it. I would have stopped to say hi and thank you and thank you some more.

I'm so sorry people have been so awful. And to your daughter! That's...beyond unbelievable. How do people support a story about love and then be so hateful?

WOW!! I am sooooo sorry this happened to you and your daughter! As a father and parent, I would be on the SERIOUS warpath if I found out anything like that happened. My kids would beat them down first, then I would get whats left. There is ZERO excuse for that kind of crap! Thank you for such an AMAZING book! I gave it to my bestie and her "studzband" and they cried! They loved it!! If impatient people can be patient, give them their money back!! You have waaaay to many appreciative and patient folks who understand what you have to deal with!

What the hell is wrong with people?

I am so sorry for all the abuse you've had to deal with throughout fulfillment, and I'm beyond sickened that someone thought it was appropriate to extend that abuse to your child. I've backed a lot of KS campaigns and I think they're a great platform for creators, and it's a real shame that others have made this such an unrelentingly negative experience for you, let alone for your family.

Seriously people... *sigh* I'm sorry you've had to go through this. A lil message at those who are impatient: sometimes mail can take a while! Two of the kickstarters that I've backed took 3 months to reach me! They were books send from the USA to... Canada! And one of them was a company (Flesk Publications for the Elfquest books). So, dear impatient backers, chill out.

I'm so sorry you've had to deal with these kinds of people... I kind of wish I was still waiting for my book because I'd wait til the end of time and it wouldn't bother me. Nonetheless, your book was fantastically drawn and very well written and I bawled my eyes out at the end :') I hope you don't let them deter you from creating great things in the future.
