About this project
Hello and Welcome!
Ethan Tarshish (Writer/Creator) and Kelly Brown (Artist/Visual Producer) here. Together, we create an ongoing series called Woe Is Oz. Since its launch in February of 2009, we’ve completed four issues of the story, and now we’d like to complete the first chapter in the journey (which will encompass issues #1-6) and compile them into a printed book.
The Story Thus Far...
Woe Is Oz follows the continuing adventures of your favorite characters in the world of Oz. Taking place years after Dorothy defeated the Wicked Witch of the West, Oz now basks in its victory and is going through a time of self-discovery. But all is not as it seems, and a new threat awaits...
THE STORY thrusts character favorites like Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Lion, Tik-Tok, General Jinjur, and many more, into a brand new ongoing adventure where sorcery, fantasy, and danger lurk around every corner. Old friends and new await you on their journey. Check out the first issue for yourself here!
About The Book
This will be the first time Woe Is Oz is collected in Trade Paperback format. At about 160 full-color pages, the book will include a whole bunch of extra material such as original script pages, character designs and early sketches.
The manufacturing and shipping costs for an endeavor like this will be roughly $15,750, and that’s where we’ll need your help. If you’re interested in giving your support, please take a look at the list of incentives available. If we meet our goal, issues 5 and 6 can be completed and the books will be printed by summer 2013.

That was an accidental typo. In reality, the shirts that have the December 2013 date as ship date, will ACTUALLY be shipping in December of 2012
