They met in a Hotel Lobby (Canceled)
A chance meeting between two individuals provides the platform for an inspiring collection of boudoir style images
The seemingly clandestine encounter between photographer and model on potentially unknown territory led me to speculate on the idea of a chance meeting between two people who meet in a Hotel lobby with a few hours to kill. This in turn leads to a photoshoot, or two, or three, or........
Balancing a fine line between the sensual and the sensitive and shot with a fine art lens, the mainly monochrome shots form a tasteful collection of boudoir style images. The women presented here are beautiful certainly and it was essential for me while creating this series that their virtue remain intact. Furthermore, the style and lighting techniques leave the viewer in no doubt that this is no casual topless style newspaper shoot, especially as the scenarios are taken into the real World, to aid the heightened sense of realism. As well as Hotels, other non studio venues include a modern office, early morning summer fields, urban spaces and rural locations.
The book has been shot over a three year period, has over 80 high quality boudoir style images which are here presented in high resolution.
I am working towards funding a large glossy book based around levitations. In order to make that book (which is laid out and ready) a reality, I am going to need to take smaller gradual steps and fund its printing via a smaller number of e-books or small coffee table variations. Please feel free to ask any questions.
Risks and challenges
The images are sourced from the high quality original PSD or TIFF files shot since 2011. I believe the book will take a week or two to lay out.
Within a week of the project closing, the e-book will be distributed to all buyers via a 'hightail' type file uploader. The book will look best on high quality screens, e-readers, tablets, phones or PCs, and will be duly tested on a variety of platforms.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
