What We Talk About When We Talk About Sex is a series of short films that explores the complex net of relationships of six young adults who find themselves living in the same house near Luxembourg city.
The series deals with the generation Y and their vision of love and sex. At a time of infinite choice, of speedy connections, are we still able to communicate and create meaningful relationships? Is sex another object of consumption or a part of our identity? What does language bring to this and how can it create a common ground on relationships?
The characters have between 25 and 35 years old, born in the late 80s-early 90s, they are the kids of the Internet. In Europe, they are the generation after revolutions, after prospects of war, the generation of globalization, traveling, career-choosing, the one that has in front of itself all the possibilities! But what choice do we make about sex and what does it mean?

Risks and challenges
Film shootings are always exciting and stressful times. It's been over a year since I started writing the scripts for this series and when the shooting comes, there will be a lot of pressure to realize the stories to their full potential. This is why we need to work in good conditions and have the means to realize the film's vision.
Even if the project is ambitious (17 days of shooting, small crew, low budget), we are driven by a lot of passion and most of us know each other and have worked together previously. This means that the project is already sustained by trust and communication. Most of us also have several years of experience in Film, enough to know the necessary predicaments and possible problems.
With all this in mind, I am confident it will be a great experience and that with our determination and love of film, the production will be a success.
