Have you ever had a moment when it seems you have been pulled out of reality for just a moment? When you are able to look at your life, almost like you are looking at a timeline written on paper. You are able to see specific moments that changed you as a person, molded your personality, hurt you greatly, and inspired breath. You can see the people who have encouraged you, mocked you, and broke you. You're looking at the events of your life, the people you have encountered and it feels as though you can't decide if it has only been two hours since you were born or 23 years. For me this reality can be summed up here and now. At the beginning of this project, Eilum Grey Chapter 1 is the emotional out pour of lost memories and strong friendships. I am overly excited, privileged and humbled to join you in the telling of these stories.
As said in the video, there will be two EP's within this one project. The first of the EP's is the Eilum Grey EP. This EP has been in the making for some time now and is almost finished. Of the 5,000 I am hoping to raise, only 1,000 of that will be used to finish it.
The second of the two will be the Brady Daniels EP. The remanding 4,000 will be used to start my first worship music EP for the church. I have been working at a local church for some time and have accumulated some congregational worship songs that I wrote for the ministry.
As I sit here and get a glimpse of my timeline, and I can't help but realize I am here right now because of the Grace I have been given. There have been so many that have selflessly invested into my life and molded me into who I am. Today, I find myself yet again being blessed and humbled by you. If you chose to invest into this project, you won't just be investing into the story of one man, but the story many past and present.
Risks and challenges
One of the challenges that I have already seen is wrestling with promotion. I am going to be straight forward here; promotion is important and I am not good at it. There is a vulnerability that comes along with it that I don't like. However, I have an incredible core group of friends that are constantly encouraging, challenging, and pushing me to commit to what is in front of me. With this challenge and I'm sure with many more to come, I have already found a great foundation of encouragement from my peers.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
