Countless hours of research, illustration, and design have led to the creation of this beautiful 24'' x 36'' print--A Visual History of Firearms.
It is truly amazing how much the firearm has evolved since the invention of the first effective gunpowder ignition systems during the fifteenth century. This print presents the most iconic, historically significant, and technologically groundbreaking firearms in chronological order.
All of the guns have been meticulously illustrated by hand and are dated according to their respective years of introduction. Additionally, each print is signed and numbered by the artist.
Print Size: 24'' x 36''
Material: 100 lb. Archival Stock
Backers who have pledged at least $35 will receive a signed and numbered print, which comes packaged in a protective plastic tube.
I've also teamed up with an independent woodshop in Brooklyn, NY to offer some custom hanging options for the print.
Backers who have pledged at least $85 will receive their print mounted on a handmade Baltic Birch wood panel.
Backers who have pledged at least $110 will receive their print framed in black or walnut. Black frames are made of oak, and both options feature a layer of durable acrylic that covers the print. Free shipping within the US for framed prints!
All panels and frames are constructed by hand at an independent woodshop based out of the Greenpoint Manufacturing and Design Center in Brooklyn, NY.
All rewards will be shipped out within 2 weeks of the campaign's completion in Mid-November. Just in time for the Holidays!
Risks and challenges
The risks for this project are very minimal. I already have a local printing company lined up to do the job, and I have a good working relationship with the woodshop that will be constructing the hanging options.
At this point, it's just a matter of raising the necessary funds to complete the printing and purchase the hanging materials. My funding goal covers these expenses, so backers will definitely receive their rewards!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
