About this project
A Lone Time Traveller must take part on an adventure spanning over time and space, dragging in an innocent game designer and a whole group of criminals. Together with his rag-tag team of champions, he’ll have to race against his only ally – Time.
INFINITE is a 10 episode sci-fi action web-series. Like fantastic cinematography, realistic characters and witty British Humour? INFINITE combines all that with a new time-travel mechanic that will entertain, shock and illuminate viewers of all ages.
AlvinetFilms is a Youtube Channel dedicated to film-making and message sending. Video types vary from Short Comedy Sketches to Religious Messages. There’s at least one video for every type of viewer, and the videos get better with every single one that’s made. Two of our films have been shortlisted for a global Film Competition – Run by the Tony Blair Faith Foundation.
AlvinetFilms was founded in Late 2010 and, for the last two years, has been steadily improving both the quality and quantity of content.
Here's a video showcasing our films over the course of 2012:
“We’re a bunch of Teenagers. But we’re not stupid, we know there are millions of us trying to become Film Makers. But you won’t see a 3 minute, speechless action scene in the woods, complete with weak Muzzle Flashes and drag-and-dropped explosions. You’ll see a carefully written script, projected into film in high definition. It may be a time-travel series, but it’s not just an excuse to use visual effects.” – Harris Alvi, Director/Writer
To begin with, there’s the obvious – you’ll see a project that you contributed towards become a reality. However, we know that’s not enough for you all, so even at the lowest level – We offer your name in the credits and early HD downloads of every episode.
Want to support us more? We don’t expect to get a lot of funding for this project, but if there are any generous benefactors, we’ll be rewarding them to the best of our ability. For specifics, have a look at the side-bar to the right.
Risks and challenges
With every film-related project, there are obvious risks and challenges to overcome.
Specifically in the case of INFINITE, there are risks involving not finishing shooting and editing in time for a deadline.
Another risk we're worried about is whether or not we'll be able to find the perfect places to shoot scenes. Considering the project takes place in various locations across various times, a considerable amount of time and effort will go towards location.
