This is a short self-empowering project based around the idea of judgement and how people perceive others - through how they look, the job they do, or the hobbies they enjoy. Our goal is to create a 1 minute film exploring this concept, showing people in various aspects of their life – and exploring how one aspect in particular cannot not define who you are.
The key message will be ‘I define me’. Once completed, we will be launching this virally through social media and hope to use it as a platform for creating more videos and projects around the concept of changing social perceptions, and breaking down myths and stereotypes.
This is a passion project - none of the cast or crew are getting paid, and we are getting the equipment for free. Your help will allow us to feed the cast and crew, give them petrol vouchers, and help with any unexpected events!
Risks and challenges
We are finishing location scouting on the 'I Define Me' project. The main challenge is finding shoot days when everyone is free, as we all work. We aim to shoot within the next month, and have the final edit done within three months.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
